We'll be going on our 1st Disney Cruise (and 1st ever cruise) in about 2 weeks. I've seen people mention the hidden Mickeys on the boards but I don't really understand what it is yet. Can someone explain? Thanks! So excited!
Hidden mickeys are something that Disney imagineering incorporates into their design at the parks, resort and cruise ship details. Animators also add them into movies! They can be found almost anywhere: walls/artwork, railings, the ground, etc. It's simply the 3 circles (or in some cases an actual mickey figurine) that make up mickey's head and properly proportioned ears. They're usually in not-so obvious locations, making them more like a fun scavenger hunt to find them! I've attached a few examples there are unofficial hidden Mickey books that can be found on Amazon, including one specifically for DCL to help locate them all. Happy sailing!
