First Time cruisers here and we have a question. We are doing the Eastern 7 day cruise in October and have not booked any of the excursions yet. Just wanted to know if when we get off the boat on either St Thomas or St Martin, can we WALK anywhere? How close is the shopping to the docks?
So far we planned on the St Martin Island Drive and Explorer Cruise ($40/ea), St John...5 star St John Snorkel and Beach Adventrue ($45/ea) and on Castaway Cay...the Getaway Package ($32/ea). We don't have anything planned for St Thomas. Does anyone think we are doing too much for our first cruise? It's just the two of us celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and we don't want to get burned out. We love walking but don't know how close anything is to the boat.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks tons!

. In St Thomas we did the Paradise tramway to Paradise Point. A nice view for a couple bucks. We also did the 5 star snorkle and beach to Trunk Bay. Also very nice. On CC we had the same package you mentioned. Ive snorkled CC before on previous cruises and enjoyed it. After 5 Star though I thought the CC snorkle was fairly plain. In fairness the last time was after a lot of hurricaine damage which we were told it did affect the CC lagoon. We did enjoy the bike ride but never used the mat floats. Next time we plan on switching to the banana boat ride. My B.I.L. said it was outstanding and maybe the parasailing. In any event, have a great time and happy 25th.
