1st time cruisers! A review on the Magic/Eastern Caribbean! WITH VACATION SLIDESHOW!!

Hi Heather!

I don't know if you remember me. I met you and Bob at WDW in May 2009. I was seated next to the two of you at the Brown Derby. We ended up chatting and taking pictures of our food :lmao:

Great review and I love the slide show. Looks like you and Bob had a fantastic time. I've sailed the Magic before and she is a beautiful ship.

I just returned from sailing on the Disney Dream. I had a ball. So much so I booked another cruise while onboard :cool1:

I see you are booked on the Fantasy for next year. Should be lots of fun.

Hi Angela!! I definitely remember you - we met up for Spectro too!!

How have you been???

So, you loved the Dream? :lovestruc How did it feel in terms of size? I am a terrible navigator, if you turn me around a few times I get lost :upsidedow
So, I even had a hard time navigating the Magic and I know the Dream/Fantasy are like twice the size. :faint:

Yup that's me :goodvibes It was my first time seeing Spectro and I really enjoyed it!

I'm doing pretty good. I had some health issues but I'm getting better. Our vacation last month was just what the doctor ordered. :woohoo:

I absolutely loved the Dream. Even though she is twice the size of the Magic, she didn't feel that much bigger. Our cabin was Aft so I walked from the back to the front of the ship alot. The walk wasn't bad at all. Especially since there were so many cool things to see along the way.

Even on the at sea day it didn't feel crowded even though the ship was almost at capacity.

I traveled with my two sons (ages 22 and 17). We had an Oceanview cabin. It felt pretty spacious even when we were all in the cabin together. I LOVED the split bathroom!! Two people could get ready at the same time.

I booked a dummy cruise to sail on the Dream next December. I am trying to decide if I want to sail on the Dream again or if I want to change it to the Fantasy. I'll have to look at the itineraries and decide.

I'm glad you enjoyed it so much! It's good to hear! And I'm sorry that you were having a tough time before that  I find that a taste of Disney magic is what I need every once in a while to get me through tough times. :wizard:

I have one last question - Did Castaway Cay feel any more crowded because of the number of people on board? It felt practically empty when we went and that was so magical! :cloud9:

We only made it as far as the Family beach so I don't know what the rest of the island was like. We got off the ship around 11:00 am. There were a lot of people on the beach but it didn't feel overly crowded. We were able to find some chairs and we had a good time.
