OK you veterans! Here's a few questions-probably addressed in the past, but I might as well ask again...We are going on the March 9th 4 day...

Has anybody out there seen the game that (I don't now what they call it) is like the Newlywed game?? My DH and I are celebrating 10 years, and this sounds fun! Feedback? How could I increase my chances of being a contestant?

Nassau...Favorite things to do? the Atlantis thing sounds like an expensive sales tour. Of course, since my 8 yo DD saw the Mary Kate and Ashley movie, it is her destination of choice. Is it worth it? Should we try to book a room? We have 2 DDs-3 and 8 who are good about doing all sorts of things. Has anyone out there tried swimming with the dolphins? My 8 yo DD wants to, but I want to know what vets think first. Is the straw market safe?

Just in case my DDs can't be dragged away from the Oceaneer's Club, can my DH and I do shore trips while they are there? I am guessing not, but I thought I'd ask. I've never even had a babysitter, so this would be weird, but my DDs are asking for alone time (they have no problem with separation).

Any good ideas for celebrating 10th anniversary? We can't afford the additional $1000 for the vow renewal, but we'd like to do something special. Ideas?

Any things on the 4 day cruise that are MUST SEE?

Finally, anyone else on our cruise? My DH and I (33,32) and our DDs (8 and 3-potty trained) hope we'll meet other crazed Disney families onboard!

I can answer a few of your questions.
Usually, they choose the match Your mate contestants by asking for volunteers who have been married within a specific range of time (e.g. newlyweds, 5 to 10 years, and the longest married couple). Then they pick the craziest...and I do mean CRAZIEST people within that span. I have seen people picked because the woman leaped into the man's arms and he carried her up to the stage, people running up and throwing themselves at the host's feet, etc. so don't be shy.
We skip Nassau and don't have kids so I'm no help on those two questions, but for your 10th anniversary I recommend ordering a basket from Shirley at www.theperfectgift.cc
I did that for our 10th last year, and hubby loved his Chicago Bears themed basket.
We just got off our 11th anniversary cruise last weekend. It was noted on our ressies, and in addition to cake and serenading in the diningroom, our stateroom host made towel swans with celebration buttons on them.

Thanks Barb!

I do remember the wave pool! Do you remember Old Chicago mall? Good old Bolingbrook! My sister lives in Winston Village now! I guess it truly is a Small World After All! If you have been away from BB for awhile, you would not believe how it has changed.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try to be as crazy as possible to be a contestant. And I'm calling Shirley tomorrow for a gift basket. I've read the posts about her, she sounds like an incredible woman.

Yeah Bolingbrook!
