1st time buttons?

I noticed in another post that someone had 1st time visitor buttons on. Does Disney supply something like this or is this something that I will need to purchase?

This is our kids (11 and 7) first trip and I want to make it as special as possible. Also we will be celebrating dd's birthday while there (we are going August 3-10, her actual birthday is the 13th but we will be celebrating while there) can I get something special for her too?

just mention it's your first time at your resort check in & the CM will give you all 1st time buttons.

Make sure to tell them about your DD B-day too. They have Happy Birthday pins.

My niece and I were just in WDW and she collected the buttons. She had 1st time visitor (she lost it and a concierge gave her 2 more), birthday, we contributed $1 for each of us and got the conservation buttons at AK and Epcot's Living Seas gift shop. She also bought the AK journal where you can keep track of the animals with stickers and that had a different conservation button in it, then she bought the Epcot passport and that had a Mickey button with all of the flags around him. A bus driver saw she was collecting buttons (since she had them pinned to her bag) and gave her another Mickey/Minnie button and also 3 bus trading cards since I guess all the transportation drivers have trading cards.

She loved all the buttons and they will be great mementos for her.

Fun things happened for me when I wore my first time visitor button. One time, we were at the Living Seas, and a CM asked us if we wanted to go to the top of the whole aquarium since we were first-timers. We weren't allowed to take photos, but it was so neat to see how huge the whole thing was, and we got to talk with the divers. Plus, another time I went to buy some popcorn at the Studios, and when I tried to pay, the vendor told me to keep it since it was my first time.
