1st time banking/borrowing for big trip

I just want to be sure I understand this as I've only had DVC a couple of years. Dec UY. If I bank my Dec 21 points then I would have those AND Dec 22 points that I could use in March of 23? If I needed a few could I borrow from Dec 23 points as well? I know I should know this.
