1st time at PO French Quarter

We have stayed numerous other location on Disney Properties. We try and stay somewhere different everytime but we don't know hardly anything about this resort other than it is moderate. What can you tell us that will help us be prepared and get the most our of our vacation in September.

Any ideas are appreciated,

our family of 7 stayed in 2 rooms 2 yrs ago this dec. we loved it...we had 2 rooms in one of the buildings close to the food court...hope this helps

It's a great resort, the smallest mod resort. There's a great pool with slide and a very secluded hot tub. Make sure to try the beignets in the food court. Elliot Dyson performs Wed-Sun in the Scat Cat lounge. Free entertainment at your resort is great concept. It's hard to believe it happens at WDW. The resort does share buses with POR, but you are picked up and dropped off first to and from the parks. I saved the best for last, it has it's own bus stop at MK in the evening.

In just 20 days I will be at POFQ for my FOURTH visit there (guess you can tell I love it!).

There are a lot of questions answered, information shared, and even photos, of this resort on that thread. Although it is several pages long, it will give you a very good idea of the layout and amenities at POFQ.

Just got back (we miss WL which we couldn't get with the Code but still like POFQ).
I recommend asking for Bldg 5 if you want to be close to the food court.
Also request a corner room with two windows and be specific about the two windows (they make the room look bigger).
You will really appreciate having one bus stop and the boat to DD.
