1st Stay at BLT

We arrived on 19th and departed 26th. Parks were more crowded than last year at the same time. The resort is absolutely beautiful!!! We loved it and got very lucky with our view. We booked at Lake view and had a perfect Magic Kingdom view!! Room 8110. I loved watching Wishes every night from my balcony! Weather was warm a few days and cool a few days. Think they should put locks on the bathroom doors!! Why would they not do that??? The resort seemed quite empty for this time of year. We shared an elevator once and I never saw anybody else near the elevators. I had thought it could get quite busy but it didn't. Even the parking lot was empty.

We loved BLT too! The convenience to the MK was just fabulous. It was busy in October (Columbus Day weekend) when we were there, but also did not see many in the halls/elevators. I think it is the layout that perhaps spreads traffic around a bit more..

Our stay was similar, the parking lot was never even half full, but we did see others almost every trip to the elevator (maybe 1 or 2-not a dozen). The resort is truly opulent and gorgeous. I didn't notice the locks on the bathroom. In our family, if the bathroom door isn't wide open, you knock before you enter, so not a big deal for us. That said, it does sound like someone missed the boat on this point. No locks-who made that decision?
