1st Online Reservation-Issue & Resolution

Yesterday I made my first on-line reservation. I was amazed at how well it all went. I had only one issue, I wanted 3 nights and 4 days in a standard, dedicated 2br at Kidani. It went through my request and the search generated 3 possibilities, Kidani & Jambo, standard view (same points) and also Jambo, Savanna view as well (more points).

The one thing the on-line option would not allow me to do was to pick a dedicated 2br over a lock-off. Irregardless, I booked it because it was not a deal breaker and discovered that it was indeed a lock-off when I reviewed the reservation

I then e-mailed member services and asked them to see if a dedicated 2br was available as a substitution for this reservation and/or if not could I waitlist for one.

This morning I received an e-mail from MS that the change had been made, I recalled my reservation and sure enough, got the dedicated 2br!

The system worked well other than not giving the option of choosing a dedicated or lock off option! Or did I miss something in the initial on-line reservation process?

The drop down menu certainly has an option for 2br deicated with both views. I know because i just booked one last week. Congrats on getting what you wanted as a first timer.

Thank you, I thought I may have missed something but I was afraid to hit the back button, as I had borrowed points etc. and didn't want a problem! Thanks for the info!

The drop down does have both dedicated and lock offs listed. It's a busy list with many entries, but if you start a search again but never continue to do the search, you won't be wasting significant resources and can see the entries.
