1st Night Chef Mickey's or what other great Character Buffet?

Hi everyone, well its official i just booked our trip for August! This will be our 2nd family trip to Disney. We were last in August 06! We ate dinner at Chef Mickey's last trip and the kids loved it as did my husband and I - just thinking that maybe we should pick different restaurants this time around! Anyother great character meal for boys - I heard about Ohana's but they are not that into the other characters there! Any suggestions?

i say stick with a proven winner. nothing says disney like chef mickeys and the monorail running through the contemporary.

Outside the parks your only other choice would be 1900 Park Farie with cinderella. But you could try Whispering Canyon at WL no characters but alot of fun or maybe T-Rex at DTD.

I would also go back to Chef Mickey's.

At the Crystal palace it's Pooh and friends, Ohana is Mickey, Pluto, Lilo, and Stitch, Hollywood and Vine is Little Einsteins, Jojo and Goliath, 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian for Breakfast is Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter and Dinner is Cinderella and Prince Charming, etc. All of these are wonderful choices. I also like Cape May Cafe which is a character breakfast with Goofy, Pluto and Donald. There is a character breakfast at the Animal Kingdom but I am not as fond of it as it used to be different and I enjoyed it better then, but you could certainly give it a try. The characters there are Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy.

For boys the ages you have: Chef Mickey's
Tusker House Breakfast
Cape May Breakfast


There is also the Garden Grill for dinner if they are Chip and Dale fans. The 'Ohana breakfast is very good, but since they're not into Lilo and Stitch then I wouldn't bother.
