1st morning with Dining Plan

We will have the dining plan on our next trip. We will be arriving very early in the morning and want to do a breakfast at 8am at Chef Mickey's. Since check-in isn't until 3pm or 4pm, is there a way to get this credited towards my dining plan??

Is the only way to do this to go check in at 7am so we have our credits available?? I would rather not have to do this but it is the only option I can think of. Has anyone had something like this credited to your dining plan after the fact?

I don't think so...you'd have to check in at the hotel first. The room may or may not be ready...but you will get your KTTW card with park tickets and dining credits loaded onto it already and then when your room IS ready it will be your room key too. Is there a reason that this wouldn't work for you? Is it a timing issue or something like that? Maybe we can help set your mind at ease with any concerns you might have about doing early check in.

I guess that is what we will do. Do I have to check in at the resort or is there any sort of online check in I can do? But I guess if I check in online there is nothing to present to the server for the dining plan right?

you will have to go to the hotel regardless if you do online check in or not. Your dining credits will be on your key to the world which will also have your park tickets and room access. You might be surprised and they might have a room ready for you even that early in the morning. This past May, I checked in a 7:30am at POR and my room was ready.

Yep...gotta go to the hotel. But if you do online check in then it might go faster...especially if you don't have any special room requests or anything like that. All of my check ins have been very quick and efficient.

Checking in that early is quite nice. No lines, nice fresh happy CMs, lots of room options open. Don't count on the room being ready but it might. We got there at 7:00, were in our room (nice upgrade) by 7:30 and at the MK by 8:00!
