Does Jetblue offer free earphones on their flights? If not, are they regular 1 prong, so we can just bring them from home? Thanks.

I think they sell them for like $1. You can bring your own which is what I always do

We were charged $2 for the headphones, the only reason we bought them though is because the kids wanted them lol.

On our most recent flight (April) the price was now $2. We prefer to bring our own when we can, but have bought them in the past in they are fine. Yes, they are the single prong. The kids have used ones from their DS systems, MP3 players etc... and DD even found a pair from an old cassette Dora the Explorer walkman that worked just fine. :goodvibes

The ones from the Dollar Store work also.

There's usually a self-pay bin at the gate.

If you wait to buy them on the plane, you will have to (a) wait until the flight attendants have taken care of more urgent issues when the flight takes off, and (b) pay with a credit card because the flight attendants don't take cash.

Thanks, that's just what I wanted to know...if they were free, I wouldn't worry about it, but for $2, when there are 6 of us, we'll just bring our own and save $12. :goodvibes
