Looking for recommendations for Counter Service and Snacks each day.

For CS in MK, I like CHH as a nice change from the routine. There is a good tuna sandwich and the vegetarian sandwich is also good. I also like the taco salad from Pecos Bill's - they have a topping bar so you can add your own toppings to the salad. My favorite snacks at MK are mickey bars, roasted nuts, and Dole Whips.

At Epcot the choices are incredible, for both CS and snacks. Sunshine Seasons has varied choices like Asian, cold sandwiches, grilled items. My favorite CS in Epcot is Tangierine Cafe and the shwarma platter. For snacks, there is something in each country like churros in Mexico, anything from the caramel store in Germany, andything from the bakery in France, etc.

At HS, the choices ar somewhat limited, imo. But the sandwiches at Starring Rolls are good and then you can top it off with a delicious cupcake!

I just want to warn you that you will be spending a lot of time in Restaurants on this trip instead of enjoying the parks. I usually recommend that families who are visiting the parks for the first time stick with the regular dining plan. A table service restaurant can sometimes take 2 hours from beginning to end. Families with older kids will be fine on the deluxe dining plan, but families with younger kids may find that their kids are unhappy.

I agree with previous poster that you will be spending a lot of time in restaurant but since you are there so many days you should be okay

Here are some of our favorite counter services
MK - Columbia Harbor House, Pecos Bill, Cosmic rays, Sleepy Hollow and can't wait to try Be our Guest for lunch in May
HS - Starring Rolls has good breakfast and treats and Min and Bill's docside diner has great sandwiches
EP - Sunshine Seasons is yummy and has great variety, French Bakery,
AK - Flame Tree Barbecue and Pizzafari
DTD - Earl of sandwich is great
Resorts - Captain Cooks at Polynesian, Mara at AKL

Snacks
MK - Dole Whip Float, cream cheese pretzels,
HS - Cupcakes at Starring Rolls, churros, homemade carrot cake ice cream sandwich at Writers stop
EP - Anything at French Bakery, Anything at Germany Carmel Shop,
AK - Frozen Bananas, Jalapeno Cheese pretzels, fresh pineapple,
DTD - Anything at Ghiradellis or goofys candy shop

We love Le Cellier the mushroom filet melts in your mouth but will probably not be eating here unless we are on deluxe since all meals are 2 credits now
