1st Chicago DIS Meet of 2003 Feeler

Well, it's that time again. I know there have been a lot of little discussions about seeing Lion King during January, and it is approaching fast.

First of all, let's try to find a theater that is centrally located. I know that for the Beauty & the Beast Meet, we went to the IMAX in Addison, and went to the BBQ place after. There is also one in Woodridge, at RT 53 and 63rd street. There is a Max & Erma's restaraunt near there too.

Second, we need to decide on a date. Pick the date in the poll and post which days are bad. We'll try to take a date that most can attend.

I'll start off. I am good for any of the Saturdays of the month. Sundays are OK, but I prefer Saturdays.

Saturdays are better for me too, but NOT January 11th.
DS has to take a High School Entrance Exam that day.

ANY other Saturday is good ith me though
Also, my preference would be the IMAX on 53

The best day for me would be the 18th and Sats are best, too. The end of the month, we will be consumed with getting ready for our trip to WDW!

I really like the Regal IMAX in Lincolnshire. It is a nice theater with good parking and a bunch of resturants right there including; Red Robin, Potbelly's Sandwiches and Cubby Bear North. There is even a hotel if someone is coming from put of town.

Just give me a bit of notice so I can get a babysitter. Even tho my DD wants to see Lion King I think IMAX is a bit intense for a 2yo!

Please NOT the weekend of January 4th or the last weekend in January. That is the only time DH and I can not make it because we are having DD's birthday party the 4th and the last weekend his Mom comes to stay. We really want to come, have been trying but the dates have never worked. We will come if it is not either of these weekends and everything is going well with my Mom.

We've got definite plans on the first weekend, and tentative plans for the third weekend. I voted the second weekend cause I want to see it! The fourth weekend would also be ok for us.

Mom might come along if it's the weekend she's with us..Not missing the Chicago meet..just CAN'T DO 1ST WEEKEND OF JAN. OR FEB...

The 11th would be hardest for us. The 18th would be doable but not most preferred. Any of the other dates would appear to be OK, pending December99's and DSD's schedules.

I voted for the last saturday in the month, mainly becouse I should be feeling more up to par by then. I will certainly try to attend whenever its decided. Please someone send me a link or info when decided. Thanks

Woo hoo! I am game for any weekend........ and any day....... with the exception of Super Bowl Sunday..... not sure what day that is...... (well it IS a Sunday lol)

This would be fun! Any where is also okay in my book....... this time it would just be me...... and the baby I am cooking.....
