I was looking to get some feed back on purchasing your US and IOA tickets online. My DH and I will be staying at the CBR during our Disney Vacation and we wanted to try out Universal and IOA. I see that you can get 1 day 2 park tickets with round trip transfer from a Disney Resort. Has anyone had any trouble with this? When you purchase you tickets online, do you get a print out of the transfer coupon? We want to be at the parks really early, will Mears accommidate this? The electronic ticket pick up, is it pretty much fool proof and where is the electronic ticket pick up kiosk?

There is a shuttle that will take you to the parks. It is provided by Mears transportation. You will call to set up your pickup time. They have always been good at getting people there early. The kiosks are at the front of the park before the turnstiles. Here is the info on the tickets:

I was thinking of doing this as well for our trip :) We've been to Universal 3 times before (early Feb, early May & mid Sept). Does anyone have any idea of how busy the parks tend to be for the week of November 7 - 14 in comparison to those times? I'm trying to decide if we should add a few days to our trip and stay onsite at Universal (Hard Rock) for FOTL pass. If it's not very busy during that time tho I don't know if I want to spend the extra money involved.

We will be using them the 1st weekend in June, I will let you know how it all worked out when we get back, it's a first for us, hope it all goes well. We are staying at All Star Movies.

I can't wait to hear how your trip goes and also how the tickets/transfer worked out. Thanks

I'm wondering if anyone can help me plan out my trip to US/IOA during my trip to Coronado Springs this coming July. Let me explain the situation.

There are 6 people in my party. 2 of them have free tickets to Universal from when they were giving them away during Superbowl season. I'm assuming they're still valid, but will check on that. The other 4 of us have to buy tickets. I'm interested in this 1-day/2-park with transfers option, but I'm wondering how it will work since two of us have tickets already. I'm assuming I can just tell the Mears person when I call to arrange our pickup that I have two people without transfer tickets. Also, two of the people going are arriving at MCO early that morning, and may wind up getting driven to US/IOA, but we will all want to take the Mears shuttle back to CSR at the end of our day.

I'm hoping someone hear with a little more experience than myself can offer some suggestions. I've only been to Florida 3 times in my life and never had to navigate on my own, so this is a learning experience for me! lol.

Thanks in advance!

You can let Mears transportation know this when you call. Most people who call Mears do not already have transfers so it shouldn't be a problem.
