Thtat sounds a little pricey for the high milage.
You should go to http://www.nada.com and see what the value is.
Don't use the Kelly bluebook site, they seem to inflate values
I have a 97 Toyota Corolla . 30 mpg no matter what. I only do basic Oilchangers type upkeep.. Never a mechanical problem (gulp - never a tuneup). Only tire changes here and there.140.000 miles and going strong.
I have a 1999 Corolla...got it brand new in January 1999. I haven't had really any problems with it. I had to get a new battery a few months ago. And just recently (in July) I had to get new brakes and tires. It was the second time I have gotten new tires, but we're really bad about rotating tires so I know that's why I had to get new tires again. My cruise control has gone out a couple of times...but that's not to big of a deal to me and it is covered by warranty. I recently had to get a new door handle because mine broke, but DH says it's because I pull it too hard.
Originally posted by RadioNate we are a honda family but in this case the toyota sounds better. Less miles and being a lease it the regular maintance should be on schedule.
