The last time we were at Disney World Orlando (1992), we purchased a 4 day ticket and only used 3 days. They were paper back then and they actually punched a hole for the day you used. We still have the tickets. Are they any good? We're planning on going in June-06 and thought we should ask before we spent money on the new tickets. :confused3

You can take the ticket to guest relations and they can exchange it for a one day ticket. If you are going for any length of time I would think about purchasing a 10 day ticket with no expiration. The more days you purchase the cheaper the per day charge gets.

You might want to save it as a souvenir.

Although it is not Disney's policy to return old tickets as souvenirs after you exchange them for equivalent admission today, it does not hurt to ask first and then decide what you want to do.

If you do exchange that old ticket, you should not actually use it except on a 1, 2, 3, 11, or 12, day vacation. Otherwise the dollar savings off of your admission budget ($14. to $3.) is less than what you could sell a totally spent ticket of the same kind on eBay for.

I actually had some tickets with a some days left on themt from the 80s when they used to stamp them. My dad said save them and use them when you go again. About 2-3 years later they faded and looked like they had never been used. Being around 10 years old at the time I figured that made them useless and trashed them. Oh well:(

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe that you could use that ticket for DAK, since it didn't exist in 1992. The other 3 parks would honor it though.

My SIL's mom went a few weeks ago. She had four tickets from 1989, each one with one day left on it. She went to guest relations and they gave her a four day hopper pass! We were shocked that they gave her a hopper! We thought for sure that she would get (at the most) four one day passes, or a four day one park only pass. It was a nice surprize!
