Okay, I am new on this part of the board. So, If I do anything wrong tell me and I won't do it again.

I have infront of me a almost mint condition 1937 "Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs" Sheet music. The song that is given is "Heigh-Ho" Published by Irving Berlin Inc.

Piano Part, Has words. You can read the notes and Words, with no problem. (Like I said, Its almost mint condition.) Cover is in absolute mint condition. With all seven dwarfs, and Snow White. Dwarfs are playing instraments.

It shows very little aging. Has 2 pieces of old tape on it.

I would love to know what you think about this find. Tell me what you think.

I found this in my grandmom's attic. She told me to sell it. But I wanted to wait and see what you all thought before I sent it to
E-bay.

Thanks,
Drdoom01

What do I think? I think I want it!!!!!! I love Snow White.....just don't tell Pooh!!!!!!

For a Snow White or Disneyana collector it sounds like an awesome find!

CHeck out the post titled 'Hummels' ......there is some good advice on how to find 'value' on Disney pieces.

I won't tell pooh. I have some Winnie the pooh stuff too. They are the main part of my collection.:D . Thanks for the advice.

Anyone know where I could get this appraised?

Thanks

Sounds like a cool find! I'll do my part to keep this bumped up so some of the Disneyana conventionears will see it. One of them might know where you could have it appraised. If all else fails, track down the Antique Roadshow guys. :D

I hate to burst your bubble, though, but I don't think any appraiser is going to consider it in mint condition. If they use the same criteria as used in comic book collectibles, the tape is going to be a MAJOR factor, no matter what condition the rest of it is in. I've checked comic grading guidelines on a few sites. The highest grade where tape is acceptable is Very Good condition, which is (at best) 50% of mint value. I know that may not be what you want to hear, but just wanted to prepare you before you get a shock.

Without getting into a lot of detail, the piece you have is probably worth $5 - $10, but those two pieces of tape may make it worth less.

For some reason, most Disney sheet music is not sought after by Disneyana collectors.

hth...

Sounds like a cool find. You may find a Snow White fan who has to have it...
