1900 Vs. Chef Mickey's

Well, that is a tough one:) We loved the ribs at CM, but the turkey was delicious at PF. Both had great desserts, potatoes better at PF....salad good at both...so, I guess I can't help you:) Characther interaction was great at both places. We had a super server at CM..a rotten one at PF.

I won't be much help either--we just ate at both last week. The chilled strawberry soup at PF was incredible but we LOVED the desserts at CM. One thing to think about--the characters at PF are face characters and "interact" more with you because they can speak. But the interactions at CM were great, too. I don't think you can go wrong either way.

Our family prefers PF over CM's. We feel that the food is better and atmosphere feels much more relaxed. We usually do both PF and CM's (due to the fab 5 interaction) when we visit. However, this trip we are eliminating CM's for something different.

About even IMO. The strawberry soup was delicous at PF, as was an Asian noodle salad, the ribs were really good at CM. CM also had peel and eat shrimp. I think desserts were slightly better at CM.

There's a link to my review of CM dinner in my signature, from 2007, and a link to PF from 2008.

I did late dinner at CM and a breakfast at 1900 and I much prefer 1900. I don't know if that helps since it wasn't both dinners.

Definitely Chef Mickeys. I found 1900 park fare buffet very blah, nothing at all stood out at me. At least at CM i had a great pasta in cream sauce with chicken, pretzel bread, parmesan potatoes, salmon, etc.......very good selection I enjoyed the desserts better too. We had an excellent server. However the soft serve at 1900 Park Fare was real ice cream, the one at CM seemed very runny like an ice milk. Also one of the stepsisters passed right by us (she went up to a couple across from us but missed our family of 5??????? and went into the next room) I wouldnt pay to eat at 1900 Park Fare but if i had to i would pay to go to Chef Mickey if i had to pick between the two to pay out of pocket.

Not food based, but you son will probably enjoy the atmosphere and characters at Chef Mickey's more.

We recenly did Crystal Palace dinner and I found the food to be amazing, I would go back to Chef Mickey's for the character interaction and atmosphere. CP is waaay too laid back for a typical 7/8yo boy.

I had dinner at PF on 9/4 and dinner at CM on 9/6. While there wasn't anything really bad about PF, my group overwhelmingly preferred CM. The salad selection was better, I do remember that, and I thought the dessert selection was better as well. I don't think you can really go wrong at either, but CM would be my preference.

I vote Chef Mickey. We ate dinner at CM on sept7 and dinner at 1900 on sept8. Everyone in my family prefered the food at CM. My kids liked the pizza at CM but the pizza at 1900 was gross. The shrimp and ribs and chicken were also good at CM. My husband and I were talking about where we would want to eat next year and Chef Mickeys was at the top of the list. We were said we would not go back to 1900.
Hope this helps
