1900 PF Characters

All the info on the characters says that some just hang out in the lobby for pics. Which ones? I would hope that at least Cinderella is in the dining room.

How does the food compare to Chef Mickey's? We really liked CM last year, but next year my sister and her family will be going with us (nieces 2 and 4) and they love Cinderella. We may go with them to PF, but we only have time for one character meal. My kids would probably prefer the gang at CM, though. Any thoughts?

We did dinner at CM in September and breakfast at 1900 (so no Cindy). 1900 is substantially better than CM. I was not impressed with CM. Not bad, but not anywhere near as fabulous as 1900. Of all the places we ate at, CM's ranks near the bottom. So we're going back in late January and we're skipping CM and doing 1900 for dinner.

Another fave is Crystal Palace. Fantastic!

Dinner is the only meal at 1900 that has Cinderella. She and Prince Charming, along with Suzy and Pearla make rounds in the restaurant while Fairy Godmother is in the lobby. That may be changing later but for now that is the setup they have.

Although Chef Mickey is also one of our favorites, (we think breakfast is better though), 1900 Park Fair has much better food for a buffet.

To be really honest, it's what started the WHOLE subject of taking my niece!!! We had gone there a year ago Sept. with my sister and her friend (in their late 30's and HAD to see Cindy!!!), anyway, DH was joking that he wished we could "borrow" a little girl for this trip since he wanted to eat at that buffet again. Well, it started as a "joke" and turned into a WONDERFUL reality. So it all started with the 1900 Park Fair dinner buffet!!! (let's just hope in 3 weeks after the trip I STILL think it's wonderful, an 8 year old can be awfully unpredictable!!!)
