Hi was wondering how dinner is there making reservations for my daughters 21st birthday! Also can you order the chocolate slipper for her. thanks

We had dinner there in October. In my opinion the food wasn't that great. However, the stepsisters spent lots of time with us and it was a fun time. There was also a dessert table which my kids enjoyed! I don't know anything about the slipper, sorry.

It's a good time, but I wouldn't go expecting a fabulous meal :)

Thanks ! I figured the food was not all that as long as its not cold we will be fine .

Have only been to the breakfast there which we loved, but as far as I know you can still order the slipper in advance. I have talked to others that love the dinner and we are trying it this next trip.

When we had dinner there, it was wonderful. The food was hot, very fresh and delicious tasting, and there was a huge variety. It was one of our favorite meals while on our trip. The stepsisters were the absolute icing on the cake. Best character interaction for sure!!!! I was very uncertain about keeping my reservation because the iffy reviews. I am so glad we kept the reservation and tried it for ourselves. We had a wonderful experience! I think your daughter will have a great experience there for her birthday. Not sure about the slipper. WDW is very accomodating to guests, so I wouldn't see it as a problem.

We've had both excellent and horrible food there. Maybe it depends on the day you go.

The stepsisters are hilarious, though my son was traumatized (age 7) by a marriage proposal by Drusilla and now we can't go any more. :lmao::lmao:

We enjoyed the dinner there. The food was cooked fine and had good flavor. I loved the strawberry soup too.
I can't speak for the slipper as I didn't know they had something like that.

Just remember you do have to special order the slipper in advance, not in the restaurant. I checked it out and there are different flavors (colors) and messages to go with it. It is gorgeous, your daughter will love it!

thanks all! I will for sure order it before we go.Glad to here some of you guys liked the meal. Been to disney about 13 times never tried this place looks like it would be fun :):):)

we've had so-so food and excellent food. we were there in December and it was the best food we'd had there. a lot depends on the characters too. some Drizellas and Anastasias are better than others. it definitely is a more fun experience if they are in a loud, fun mood. ;)

but it's worth the risk. :thumbsup2

I agree with this. The food at dinner was quite disappointing. The step sisters really made the experience worth it thou.

I will say that i enjoyed the breakfast at 1900 a heck of a lot more than dinner!

I ordered one yesterday, for my niece's birthday. We are having dinner on 1/31, you have to pay for it at the time of order. I did not get a choice of type of dessert, its whatever they give you.

How big are the slippers? Wondering if one would be good for a 5 and a 10 year old.

We found the food to be pretty good for a buffet. Compare it to Chef Mickey's and it's gormet.

Food variety was good, prepared well and kept warm.

Buffet line was very clean and kept up.

Strawberry soup is one of those Disney things you wont forget

Characters are spactacular.

Everyone should do this dinner once.

This was my biggest disappointment the last time we were at Disney. The food was not that great and even the kids were not thrilled with it and they eat most anything. It is not something I will do again.

Actually, they aren't huge, just a nice detail, and look gorgeous (haven't actually eaten one :) ) but have heard others rave over them, but they aren't cheap

Have heard very few people not like the dinner there or the entertainment, and as far as the kid's not caring for it - most all the buffets or even regular meals for children are basically the same :confused3 Then at buffets they even have the choice of any of the adult dishes :thumbsup2

Thanks! It looks like they are about $15? I think that's pretty reasonable. Might just do it for my nieces we are taking in a few weeks...
