Which of the above do you prefer for dinner. (6A, 2C)

I am thinking just on the food, rather than where it is, characters etc.

Many thanks :goodvibes

^^^ I think based just on the food most people will recommend Ohana. On the other hand if you want a character experience and a decent meal, you'll hear most will recommend 1900 Park Fare.

O'Hana...food and atmosphere. :thumbsup2, kids may like it depending on the ages, are they really into seeing the characters. That would been an important detail. Been to both and loved them. :goodvibes

we ate at both our last trip, loved Ohana, and 1900 was our worst meal of the trip. The meats were very dried out and we found it to be quite blah. That being said Ohana is on our list for this year and 1900 isn't.

I have the opposite experience. Won't bother with O'hana again. Meat very dried out. Love the buffet at Park Fare - Strawberry Soup!!!!!

For me, it's definitely Ohana. I think the food is much better. I do like character meals, but I think there are ones much better than 1900 Park Fare.

We do Ohana dinner every trip and LOVE it!
My kids love the bread and the atmosphere can't be beat. Ask for a window table and you can see the castle! It is a lot of fun! The meats and dessert are my favorite although I don't care for the salad.

This year we are going to try 1900 Park Fare for the first time so I can't speak to that yet!

Happy planning!

If you don't really care about the characters then I would say Ohana. Ohana is a unique dining experience while PF is another Disney buffet. Don't get me wrong, PF is very good but the characters is what makes it so special.

We LOVE the food at Ohana, and didn't really think 1900 Park Fare was great as far as the food. It is a nice venue for the characters, but the food is way better at Ohana.

I very much prefer the food at 'Ohana to 1900 Park Fare. The bread and sticky wings and meat are amazing. The buffet at 1900 Park Fare is only so-so.

You could just do what we are doing.................. BOTH!!! :goodvibes

We've done O'hana over and over and over again........... we love it and it's a MUST DO on every trip - but, we've never done 1900 and are going to try it this trip!!!

Ohana definitely has the better food - 1900 Park Fare is rather subpar, average-at-best.

We did both these restaurants just last month.

Ohana was one of my favorite meals. I'd describe the food as fancy, quality BBQ. So much delicious stuff that kept coming in rounds. I wished I had more room! (Save room for the dessert!) It was neat to have it served family style too. The noodles were a huge hit at our table. My only minor complaints of Ohana were that the seating arrangements seemed overstuffed and cramped. Also, we had a Sat 6:30 reservations and it was the only place we had to wait more than 10 mins to be seated (prob 30 mins). The extra wait may have been a good thing b/c at the very end of our meal the Wishes fireworks started and we watched them from our table!

1900 Park Fare was good b/c of the character interaction. I thought the food was better quality than the average buffet, but it seemed to me there were more cold, upscale salad type options (some seafoody) than actual hot dishes. I liked that the desserts were in very small portions so I could sample everything without wasting. The strawberry soup is truly delish!

If I had to choose where to rebook for our next trip, I'd choose Ohana.

DH, myself and two nieces detested the food at 1900 PF...it was just gross.

I loved Ohana, DH can take it or leave it

We love the food at 1900 park fare, and the character's were great. I would eat here in a heartbeat on the dining plan, 40 bucks for dinner oop is a little steep for the food though in my opinion.
The atmosphere at Ohanas is wonderful, last time the food was not good, but we are going in April to try it again. I think we are just going to tell our server please don't bring out all of our food at the same time and then take it away a few minutes later. I think last time was just an isolated bad experience, the first time we ate there it was great. Can't go wrong w/ either.

Ohana's we've done Ohana's 3 times. Once for breakfast, twice for dinner. Atmosphere is wonderful, service spotty, love the starters, I am not a big meat eater and find the meats very dry. I do give the restaurant a :thumbsup2 though.

1900 Park Fare done this restaurant 4 times. Twice for breakfast and twice for dinner. Were doing dinner here on our up coming trip. It's probably my favorite dinner buffet. ( DH say it just OK, his favorite buffet is Crystal Palace for breakfast and dinner) It can be very busy, all character meals have a tendency to be loud and busy, if you want a quite meal this is not the place. Overall I give it a :thumbsup2 too.
