How is this character meal for princess interaction?

I told DD we were only going to do one princess meal this trip and gave her the choice between Akershus, CRT, and 1900 Park Fare and she chose 1900 Park Fare since we didn't do it last time.

Is it an enjoyable experience?

We've had dinner at 1900 PF twice and both times we had great character interaction. If you have an early (4:30 -4:45) ressie, you need to be at the door when it opens to see the special pixy dust and bippity boppity boo when they open. :wizard:

We did Park Fare and we did Akershus....We had a wonderful time at Park Fare and the character interaction was WONDERFUL and the food was really good. We loved the strawberry soup. We were not impressed with Akershus AT ALL!!!

I think she would have a nice time at 1900 Park Fare

We have done it twice as well (Feb. 2004 and Mar. 2005). The first year, only my oldest knew about Cinderella (she was almost 3) and the next year my 20 mos old also knew who "Rella" was!! The interaction was wonderful. Last year we were there on oldest dd's 4th birthday and Cinderella was there when they brought out the cake and sang to her. She put the Happy Birthday crown on her head and spent a nice bit of time with her :flower: This year I am looking forward to it again because our little one is totally in love with her now  !!

Prince Charming the first year was very "charming" ... my oldest blushed when he gave her a big hug good-bye. It was very sweet!

The mice (Perla and Suzie) are very adorable. The seem to make it around more often. The first year there, Julia (my oldest) asked where Gus was and Suzie made motions with her hands to show that he was shovelling food in his mouth in the kitchen! Julia was very excited to know that Gus was there eating too, even though we didn't get to see him. I thought that was very good thinking on Suzie's part :flower:

The Fairy Godmother is in the foyer outside the restaurant. She was pretty nice too. Depends how busy it is. It was the same FG both years for us.

Have fun ... the food is good too ;)

We just did all three princess meals in Dec (my reviews are posted).

Personally, 1900 PF is my favorite - the Interaction and food are teriffic.

We had dinner there in December and it was a big hit. Cinderella came around 2 or 3 times, we had a 4:30 seating so that probably helped that since the place wasn't crammed full of people yet. The food and the atmosphere were wonderful, we'll definitely do it again.

Took 4 kids there this summer. My 2 DS almost 5 DD 3 and my friend's son almost 6 and her daughter almost 4. The food was great the kids had a blast even the boys. Would definitely recommend

We just did the breakfast on Christmas day with my 3 year old granddaughter and it was just perfect as she got to "meet" two of her favorites!

Mary Poppins was standing just outside the main doors and was so sweet with herl!

Alice in Wonderland was inside and my granddaughter was just in awe!!! My granddaughter told her that she was one of her very favorites and Alice lingered at the table talking with her and posing for picures and made it so magical for her.

Pooh and Eeyore were also inside mingling but she had met them the day before and was still so mesmerized by Alice that it would have been perfect even if Alice and Mary Poppins had been the only two there that day!

The interaction was great and we highly recommend 1900 Park Fare!

Thank you all for your input! I'm really glad to hear the great reviews!

Personally, I'm a bit sad that my DD doesn't want to do CRT again, but this sounds like a very nice alternative. DH isn't too impressed with the package at CRT now either, so I can't see wasting two of our TS credits on the dining plan if they're not excited to go.

We did Park Fare and Norway and loved them both. Park Fare was a little more crowded but the Prince and Cindy were so sweet and took a lot of time with dd. DD was scared of the mice (yes, that's my dd, under the table) so they didn't stay very long. We will probably do both again. We will try to get an early time at Park Fare to see the opening.
