1900 Park Fare

We ate at 1900 Park Fare several years back, 1999 I think when we stayed at the Floridian, for both breakfast and dinner. If I remember correctly the dinner had characters like Peter Pan & Captain Hook, Beauty & the Beast, etc. Who are the current characters? Booking a PS for our April trip. TIA

When we went in July the characters for breakfast were Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh and Mary Poppins. The dinner is now Cinderella's Gala Feast with Cinderella, Prince Charming, Suzy and Pearle (mice) and Fairy Godmother.

When we went last year in February I was pretty new to these boards and was not aware that you could actually book PS's at restaurants and eat there if you weren't staying on-site (silly I know!). So I was pretty close to us leaving when I booked our PS for the Cinderella Royal Gala Feast and boy was I SOOOOO glad that I did! Our dd at the time was almost 3 and was so enthralled with Cinderella and Prince Charming. She also loved the mice, but was disappointed that Gus wasn't there ... Pearla and Suzie "told" her he was eating!! The Godmother was sweet too. We are going again in March and because it will be our March Break, there will be plenty of Canadians heading down, and it is a popular time for Spring Break, so I booked it as soon as I could. When we went before I managed to get a time only about 2 weeks ahead for an early dinner (around 5). Food was great and the character interaction was wonderful!

Thanks all. My girls were quite young when we ate thr in '99, they were 2 & 4. I remember Amy, the younger being quite taken with the princesses we saw at the breakfast, was okay with dopey (he was with snow white) and was terrified of the beast and Capt. hook at the villians dinner.

In December at 1900 Park Fare we had Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh, Tigger, and Belle. But were were told Belle was not a normal character there, the hostess seating us said, "Today we have a special guest with us, I'm not really sure why she's here."

We liked 1900 as the best Character Breakfast on property (although I haven't tried Donald's in the AK, the reviews are not that great). IMO the food is the best (omelet station, among other things) and the interaction is great because the place is relatively small (unlike Chef Mickey's) so often the characters will come around to your table twice in the time you are there.

The dinner buffet at 1900 Park Fare was my favorite dinner at WDW when we were there in Dec.
That chilled strawberry soup was so good.
