This is our first time with the TS meals. Usually we do not want to tie ourselves down to reservations. This time we will be there for 6 days but only 2 park days. Gives us plenty of time for TS meals and relaxing. Anyway my question is.... Would 1900 Park Fare be better for breakfast or for dinner?

I loved both. It's a personal preference on the characters. I don't think you'll go wrong with either meal.

I agree with the PP. We always do both...different characters..pick the one that fits your schedule or the one with the characters that you like.

I personally prefer dinner because I like to be in the parks when they open but if it doesn't matter to you or you have a day that is going to be a late park day then I say its up to you. The dinner includes Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine and Anastasia and Drizella. The breakfast includes Mary poppins, Alice and Wonderland and the Mad Hatter. The stepsisters are crazy at dinner.. so fun! :goodvibes

Thank you all. Looks like I will stick with the ADR I already have for dinner. Can't wait. :goodvibes

Breakfast is great, the Mad Hatter can get really wild. Last year he was yelling for my mom's attention across the entire restaurant. He was very entertaining!

I'm told they're two completely different experiences. To be honest, I'm looking forward to the stepsisters at dinner, but the Mad Hatter at breakfast is supposed to be a riot!

We had a hard time deciding which one to do also, but ended up going with breakfast. We will try dinner on our next trip.

I have heard both are really good but we are trying 1900 Park Fare for dinner this July. Everyone is really excited about it.

We have done the dinner which was fun with the step-mom and sisters. This time around I'm considering breakfast to get pic's of Alice, Mary and the Mad Hatter which we haven't seen in the parks.

We're doing dinner on our honeymoon! I can't wait to interact with the step sisters! I've heard wonderful stories about them!!

Going for Breakfast AND Dinner this trip! (Yes we will willingly eat an icecream cone for a meal in favor of having another character meal!) Have not been at all, have only done Ohana Breakfast, Hollywood & Vine Breakfast, and Tusker House Breakfast. But we are so looking forward to all of the characters. DS5 wants to meet Cinderella (he claims he is a knight, so wants to meet "the" princess!) My Mom wants to see Mary Poppins, and I can't decide who I want to meet more Alice or the Hatter!

I have also done both breakfast and dinner there. Both are great but I prefer dinner. It seems a little calmer and less chaotic. Plus the food is great for dinner and the Grand Floridian seems so much more beautiful and elegant at night.

I prefer dinner as well the sisters are crazy and fun and afterwards we walked to the beach and watched the fireworks

We have a late flight leaving WDW and I'm going to book breakfast. My kids watched Alice in Wonderland for the first time this year and laughed so hard at the Mad Tea Party. I thought they would love having breakfast and getting to see the Hatter.

We've done dinner there twice and the characters are the BEST!! We have a breakfast booked for our upcoming trip - we were supposed to go on our last trip this past October but it was booked at the end of the week and we were just BEAT so we ended up canceling the day before as we knew we'd never make it. I won't be missing it this time :thumbsup2 We love all the Alice characters.

Food at dinner was way better the first time (2008) but still decent enough in 2010.

We did both & prefered dinner. The highlight of breakfast was meeting Mary Poppins and have the entire restaurant sing Happy Birthday to DD. Dinner was great as far as character interaction. We were seated in the main room, near the buffet. This is where Cinderella & Prince Charming dance with each other & the kids. DD was twirled around by Prince Charming while she was dressed as Cinderella. DH & I were both misty-eyed!

The buffet for both meals was okay. I don't recall anything outstanding. I wish I had remembered at least once to get the strawberry soup...
