I heard a rumor that the characters have changed at 1900 Park Fare again, no longer Cinderella and her gang but Mickey and friends? Can someone tell me if this is true and who the new characters are.

As far as I know Breakfast characters are: Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh & Tigger. Dinner: Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine (sp?), Cindy's step sisters (Anastasi & Drizella).

I'd like to know this as well as we'd like to eat there in Dec (slacker on ADRs I know!) but would like the princesses for me. The boys would be much happier with Mickey and friends. If they're going to change it, make it something more unique like Tarzan, Prince Charming, Pirates, stuff like that-not another generic character breakfast.

If its true someone should tell Disney about it... They are still claiming its Mary Poppins for Breakfast, Alice for Lunch and Cindy for dinner.... I think the only change in characters I had heard of was the elimination of the one at Epcot near Soarin' I think it had chip and dale... but I've heard it is no more.

We ate breakfast there on Tuesday, September 30th and the characters were Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh & Tigger, as wdwmickey said.

Where did you hear this?? Can't imagine this wouldn't be all over the DIS if something like this was happening.:confused3

I'd love to know as well. We have ADRs for 12/5 at 1900 PF for breakfast. I'd actually prefer Mickey and friends seeing as I keep hearing horror stories about construction noise at Chef Mickey.

Did they still have the eggs benedict with citrus hollandaise sauce?

The only reason I booked my upcoming breakfast there was to see Alice and the Mad Hatter..I'd be very upset if this changed without notice. There are a lot of character breakfasts with Mickey, this is the only one with Alice.

Drizella made my nephew (14!) dance with her, he had to give her a bow at the end of the dance.

:lmao:

hello....when I booked it Tuesday for dinner in Oct. they told me it was Cinderella, Prince Charming, Wicked Stepmother and Step sisters......I got lucky.....been trying for this one for several months......have fun:love: :flower3:

I don't know if you're wanting Mickey and friends, but I have to say I'd be disappointed if the GF changed to those characters.

We were at 1900 Park Fare breakfast about a month ago and really got a kick out of the "face" characters. The people playing them really got into their roles and they were a hoot!

Next time we go to WDW, we're definitely having dinner there for that reason. The face characters add a whole new dimension to dining with characters.

To the poster asking about eggs benedict--as was reported upthread, they are now serving lobster benedict, and it is awesome! I also thought the strawberry soup was "all that." Simply delicious!

They had the eggs benedict with lobster sauce when we were there too. I didn't see citrus eggs benedict. I loved the lobster sauce, it was really delish, but, the eggs were not good - the yolk was overcooked. It was like eating a hard boiled yolk. I don't think eggs benedict are good for a buffet. They really need to be done to order.
