What did you like/dislike about the Dinner Buffet? Was It overly crowded and loud?? Looking to take my adult kids for a dinner buffet that has characters but is a little calmer then most. What do you think?? TIA

We ate dinner here back in '99, and we loved it. Yes, to us it seemed a lil' more quiet than the other character dinners. The food was good and the rest. was very nice! We are taking my 5 yr old dd there this yr for dinner after the bibbity boutique. i am sure you will enjoy it!!

I think this is an excellent choice for you and your adult children. I'm an adult - don't have any children - and I love it. You can't beat the atmosphere. Another good dinner buffet choice - but no characters - is the Cape May Cafe.

Thanks for your thoughts! SOunds like you both enjoyed it and the food. Do you recall how the characters interacted with you??

For a character meal, it is definitely more quiet. Not as quiet as a non-character meal, though. 1900 PF is more elegant and more sedate that CM's. Cinderella was at dinner, along with other characters. They all stopped by for a minute, signed my daughter's autograph book, posed for a photo, and rushed to the next table. They were pleasant, but had to hurry to get to everyone. The buffet was pretty good -- my daughter loved the chilled strawberry soup and wants to go back for more!

The last time we were at 1900 Park Fare was in 2002. We went to the breakfast and the dinner. My oldest daughter loves the Strawberry soup! It is definitely more elegant, quiet and sedate than other CM's. We are going back next summer and my oldest daughter requested going back so needless to say this is on restaurant list. We all enjoy the food and atmosphere.

We went in March, I really like it. It was quiter than the other CM's we did. I plan on going back in Oct. I need to try the Strawberry soup. I think the characters were Cinderella, Prince Charming and 2 of the mice. Not sure which ones but they seemed to spend enough time with everyone. I took my 5yr son and he even liked. The food was good too.

Just don't expect a quiet meal if you have dinner ressies on Thanksgiving. I know, I know...........it was a holiday. But come on people, a restaurant is not a playground and a 6 year old is plenty old enough to be taught not to run around tables and play hide-n-seek with their parents in the serving line. One dear little Cindy almost got a big bowl of strawberry soup dumped on her head when she slammed into me that night. :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Seriously though, we loved the food and will probably go back again this coming October.
