How's the 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian? Has anyone gone there for Christmas dinner?

Have not been there for Christmas, but it is our favorite restaurant for character meals. The buffet for both breakfast and dinner, as a wondeful selection of foods, and the characters are just awesome! It was one of our choices for Christmas morning breakfast, but I decided on CP so we will be in the park EARLY!

We went to the CP the last time that we were there (dinner). It was great!!! The food was delicious. We wanted to try a different place this time and did not want to be in MK during the day/late afternoon. However, after dinner, we may go to the MK since it's right there.. By then it will be nightime. We'll see. We haven't thought about Christmas morning breakfast..........any suggestions?

We were there for New Year's breakfast 2003 and will be having xmas breakfast here this year. I know brekfast foods are great and the resort is amazingly beautiful for the holidays..can't comment on xmas dinner.

How's the 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian? Has anyone gone there for Christmas dinner?

Last Christmas I went to 1900 park fare on December 13th for dinner. They had a Christmas Tree in the Lobby and I got a photo taken with Suzy and Perla with the Christmas Tree in the Background. I would post the photo, but I don't have it on my computer.

Now I don't like posting dates of when I will be in DisneyWorld anymore, because I don't trust some people. But for Christmas I will take the risk, after all it's Christmas and it will be a busy day and the cast members at the 1900 park fare love me. Also it's really not that big of a deal, I just like to be extra careful. Anyways I will have dinner at the 1900 park fare on Christmas day and I will be sure to post some photos.

It's an all you can eat meal and the price for adults is $28.99 I believe and for children it's like around $11.99 or something like that. The characters are Suzy Mouse and Perla Mouse and Cinderelly and her Prince and they each come to your table. Also the Fairy Godmother is out in the lobby. Now this is the character set up most of the time, once in a while the Fairy Godmother, Cinderelly, The Prince might call out sick. As for Suzy and Perla a cast member who works there can't remember one time in the last 2 years when Suzy and Perla where not at the 1900 park fare dinner.
