Hi everyone,

Just called the Disney Dining Reservation and booked 1900 Park Fare for dinner. Does the restaurant offer BUFFET, or Al La Carte?

I read from allearsnet.com that it offers BUFFET, but the reservation agent told me that this serves Al La Carte only.

How do you like the restaurant? I am being "forced" by my wife to cancel Gulliver's Grill and book this restaurant instead. We are using Disney's Dining Plan.

Any advice are welcome!

Call back and double check that they booked you for 1900 Park Fare and not the Grand Floridian Cafe. If that checks out, ask the CM to check again for the menu they have listed. WDW menus do change all the time, but it was most definately a buffet as of the last week or so.

We were at 1900 Park Fare for diiner in late December. It is a charachter meal and it is a buffett. Cinderella, Prince Charming, Suzy, Perla and the Fairy Godmother were all there. I have also been to Gulliver's Grille, although not since 2003, but enjoyed 1900 Park Fare far more. But as the previous poster said, you should double check to ensure you are at the correct restaurant. Enjoy!

We ate here on our first trip to Disney in 2003. It is one of the best character meals for Princesses. We did dinner. Wonderful character interaction. My daughters fell in love with the mice mice as they danced around with them, I think the mice circled around several times. Food okay, but nothing exciting. Depending on when you are going it may change to the Fairies breakfast but who knows if that will even happen. Good luck.

We just ate at 1900 Park Fare on Sat. nite (yes, we just got back today :sad1: ).

The dinner is a character buffet.
It was good. Be prepared for LOTS of little girls in princess costumes.

The buffet was good but we preferred Chef Mickey's & Crystal Palace.
We were also on the Dining Plan.

Whispering Canyon Lodge for dinner was the absolute best!!!

Thanks everyone! :) I will call them tomorrow to re-confirm, but I am quite sure that I said "1900 Park Fare" and never mentioned "Floridian". The lady I have spoken to, was a bit weird. Last time, another lady told me that I can request a print-out of all restaurants I have booked when I arrived the resort (POFQ), but this this lady said it is not possible, and I have to write down all my bookings.

I wish to go to Whispering Canyon too! Is it good?

We enjoyed WCC. The milkshakes are yummy and the food was good. They have stick horse races for the kids and it's a really fun atmosphere.

Just a side note on your 1900 reservation - not the same situation, but I booked Crystal Palace for a Monday evening and when I got there, they didn't have my name. I called Disney Dining and found out that the CM I booked with 90 days prior had selected Coral Reef by mistake - they are in alphabetical order on the screen they select from. So while 1900 and GFC aren't alphabetical, they are in the same resort and she might have just picked the wrong one. Or, she is just very confused. Good luck!

. . .and you definitely CAN get a printout of all of your ADRs at the resort. You need to ask at the concierge desk instead of the check-in desk. (When you walk into the lobby, you will see the check-in desk on the right, the concierge desk is in the same room as the check in desk, on the far right as you enter that part of the inner lobby.)
