1900 Park Fare....Yay or nay?

I vote Yay. We love it there! The character interaction, the food and the service were all great! :goodvibes

We ate dinner there 2yrs ago and eating there again this year. We all liked the food and great character interaction, however, our waitress was not very friendly. It took her forever to bring our drinks and we had to ask for refills. We ate breakfast there last yr and it was good, great character interaction and great waitress. Our girls want to go back for Cinderella again this year. Done Akershus and like the PP the main dish was awful, the cold selections for the salad bar were good but the main dish offering was very limited. And I just don't justify 2 meal credits going to the castle to see Cinderella.

We had dinner here last October and it was a lot of fun. The food was okay, nothing to get overly excited about but it wasn't bad. The characters are so funny though. And DD always loves seeing Prince Charming.

One of the step sisters (dont' remember which one now, have to check the pictures) kissed DS(4 months old) on his forehead and left a big bright kiss mark. DS was just staring at her. We took some pics and she went on her way. Toward the end of dinner I scrubbed the mark off. She came back by and saw I had washed it off and kissed him again. I can't remember now what she said but it was all really funny.

I've got an ADR for dinner here on our trip this year and hopefully it will work out for us to go. We enjoyed it a lot.

I'd like to try breakfast again. We did it years ago and they had vanilla sauce on the buffet. I think it's for bread pudding or something but I like it on the waffles with a little of the strawberries like they used to have at Tangora Terrace when I as a kid.

We did breakfast there last month and enjoyed it although it did seem to take a long time to see the characters. We did dinner several years ago and won't go back because it just wasn't good.

Nay for both breakfast and dinner. This used to be one of our favorites for dinner. We love the characters but the food quality just is not what it once was. I won't go back.

We went for dinner about 4 years ago and the buffet was really good. Everything was fresh. The characters were great...especially the step sisters and step mother. Cinderella and PC were nice, but the others really stole the show!

I have read lots of bad reviews in the past few months. Not sure what to think of it. We are going back to WDW next year and may try Akershus if we can get a ressie, if not, we will go back to 1900 b/c my daughter still loves those princesses.

While the breakfast has some tasty items on the buffet, the place is just really loud and just feels chaotic (and we sat in a corner ). I think it's a good place to try at least once for some of the unique breakfast items, but if you don't plan to go back to WDW anytime soon and/or you prefer a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere I would say skip it.

I would have to say nah :(. It is the only Disney resturant that I would not go back to again. The food was just not good. They made "fancy" sounding food, but it really tasted like it came out of a can. It was like food from a cheap buffet around here. The room was also very cramped. Cinderella and the Prince dance, and its really beautifully, but its really hard to see from alot of the tables. Many people get up and circle them while they dance, making it even harder to see. On a good note, the characters were great there! The step sisters and step mother were so funny! The kids loved them!

If it is your only princess meal, go elsewhere. But if you will hit others, you could give it a try.

We do 1900 PF for both breakfast and dinner every trip. We like it because it's a nice break from the parks...I really don't think Disney has any great food...the food there is okay..better than some and worse than others. We go for the characters which are great at both meals. I would highly recommend both!
