Hi there! I need to pick one character breakfast for a slot I have left on my itinerary. These are the two I need to choose between so I need your help.
Which has better food?
Which has better character interaction?
Which characters have you seen at each?

Many thanks,
Claire

1900 Park Fare has Winnie-the-Pooh and friends, Cape May has Goofy and his friends...Minnie, Chip and Dale. I like Cape May better. I loved the food and the character interaction. It is now the first breakfast we book. 1900 is good, don't get me wrong...but Cape May is quieter and less frenetic for some reason.

I have yet to try Cape May, but love 1900 Park Fare. The characters there for breakfast are Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, Pooh, and Eeyore. Sometimes (Saturdays I think), Bert is there instead of the Mad Hatter. I think the characters are really fun and a little different than the usual Mickey and friends that are at lots of the character meals. It's fun to have a mix of face characters and masked characters.

...and I'd pick 1900. Yummy food, fun characters, festive atmosphere. It can get raucous, though, and the energy level is pretty high.

Cape May is good -- I love the characters in their bathing suits! -- but I thought the food was only average. (It's also a little quieter, less rowdy than 1900 -- if that makes a difference or not.)

The food was better at 1900 Park Fair. Also, you'll be there just after Christmas and GF is decorated beautifully. BC is also nicely decorated, but GF is much nicer.

Here's my pick: depending on the time, etc. 1900 Park Fare. Food at both was excellent, but we just preferred the food at Park Fare. Also, we had a late PS - 11 AM on a Saturday with Bert, Alice, Mary Poppins, Pooh and Tigger. As time passed the restaurant really cleared out and we spent lots of time with the characters. Our 2 1/2 year old son loved it! If you can get that late PS, go for it. We haven't been there except that one time, so I don't know anything about it being loud, etc. as others have reported.

We have, however, been to Cape May when it was busy. Character interaction that day was frustrating at best. Though the food was fine, we just felt like it was too rushed - and way too loud.

God bless!
Mark

Thank you for your responses. 1900 Park Fare would seem to be the popular choice. I did book Chef Mickeys this morning so maybe 2 character meals with the same characters isn't needed anyway.
Thanks again and pixie dust to you all,
Claire

Hmm... we've have the same dilema coming up in Dec. I had booked a PS for Cape May because we have never eaten there, and have had dinner at Park Fare.

Now you all have me wondering if we should do Park Fare again.. with the Christmas decorations and all!
