We just got back from our trip and thought I’d share what our experience with 1900 Park Fare. Check-in was tooth and waited less than 5-min for a table at breakfast. That’s where the positives end.

We were seated in this weird location between the front/main room and the back room between two pillars. Usually when we do buffets or AYCTE restaurants the servers is there pretty quick to take your drink orders and explain how the buffet/meal/characters work. After 15-minutes of no one showing up, I had my mom go get food. When she returned I went. When I got back to the table, the server was placing a glass of water in front of my mom. Coffee had been delivered and my juice glass filled (being diabetic I wish they had asked me as I would’ve passed). I asked my mom
If she had ordered me any water (she didn’t) and before I could ask the server for one, she took my mom’s from her and gave it to me! I gave it back to my mom and asked for some. That was about the last time I saw her.

We had booked this place last year and really enjoyed the food. This year it was terrible! The place was not full by any means yet to r food
On the buffet was nearly gone and/or cold (ADR was 9:30). So disappointed!

We saw one character that stopped at our table. We watched 3 or the 4 circle the main dining room 2 and 3 times. By that time, I was done. Had to flag our server down to give her my cc so we could pay and leave.

The whole experience was so bad I should’ve hunted up the manager. But we had to leave and catch a flight. Worst experience we’ve had at WDW in a long time.

Sounds like it was particularly bad today... I would provide feedback if you wish to. While we are not big 1900 Park Fare people, I can say the experience we had during our visit was nowhere near that level...

Sounds pretty bad :( Not all servers are attentive, and maybe some are ending their shift. But I am surprised to hear you only saw one character. Typically, CMs do a good job checking if you have seen all four. I'd recommend letting CMs at character dinings know that you are in a rush next time if you ever decide to give any another chance

Hi Elvispursley,
What it sounds like to me is that you and your mother possibly experienced terrible service at 1900 Park Fare and what you should've done in the first place was ask if they were full or gonna be empty for breakfast and as soon as you noticed that you were recieving poor service you should've asked for the manager right away and asked what was going on at 1900 Park Fare that made them give you poor service. Because normally Disney restaurants get really busy and full especially when people have special occasions like wedding receptions and kids birthday parties so they must've had a big event like someone's wedding reception or birthday party. On the one character thing you mentioned during every character meal at Disney restaurants all the characters are supposed to stop at each table say hello get an autograph and move on to the next table. It is shocking that 1900 Park Fare would have just one character in the whole restaurant stop by your table and you should've complained about it. Because 1900 Park Fare is supposed to have Mirabel Aladdin Tiana Cinderella and other characters give out autographs and meet and greet with other tables. I wonder what character you had? Because as I mentioned it is surprising you only got one character visit your table. What you should is call 1900 Park Fare and talk to the manager and voice your complaint about your experience
Hopefully you can get credited for your dining experience
Good luck Elvispursley and let me know what happens

I am sorry to hear about your poor experience at 1900 Park Fair. If I were you, I would send an email to Guest Services about the experience. The last few character meals I have been to (admittedly almost a year ago now), there is a cast member who has an IPad that is marking off to see that all characters have stopped at the tables. And then I have had those same cast members come by to confirm that we have met all the characters. We dined at 1900 for dinner last September and we did have a character skip our table because someone was in the bathroom, but they did loop back when they saw the person was back.
