I have never been to 1900 Park Fare before and was hoping that someone could explain the seating. I booked a reservation for 6 for dinner. On the online reservation confirmation it stated that it was possible for our party to be split up into multiple tables. Are the tables set up for groups of 4?'

Also, we are going with a 7 year old girl and a 3 year old boy. Do you think that they will enjoy it? I'm sure that the 7 year old will, but what do you think about the 3 year old? Thank you.

I think both kids will love 1900 PF. Its a lot of fun. The characters are a riot! Im sure the stepsisters will gush over your 3 yr old prince. :)

Just so you know, i personally didnt find the food all that great. I found the variety disappointing. But im glad i did it once.

Have fun!

We had a fabulous time at 1900 Park Fare! The step sisters and stepmother were too funny. One of the step sisters sat down with my 9 year old son and kept trying to get him to marry her. He was not into the characters at first but even he was laughing and playing along at the end. My 5 year old, non-princessy tomboy, daughter was so star struck meeting Prince Charming that we had to take so many pictures.

There are larger tables there, but I think that your party may be split up means that they have a lot of parties larger than 4 people and cannot guarantee that a large enough table will be available.

As the PPs have said, that note about parties being split up is a standard note on most of the TS restaurant sites. Don't worry about it-it is really intended for large groups. 6 is not a large group.

And I think your children will have a great time as long as the little one isn't afraid of characters.

Thanks for the replies! I'm glad to hear that we will most likely get to sit together and that the kids will enjoy it. I am disappointed that the food is not that good. I know it's a buffet, but since it is at the Grand Floridian I thought it would be decent. Can't wait to go though!!!

I think the characters at dinner are all "face" characters (they don't wear the costumes with big heads) and little kids are less likely to be afraid of them. Very shy kids may not like being approached.

As for the "may be seated separately" I have seen examples where parties of one got that warning.
