1900 Park Fare Rumor Is It true?

Going to the 1900 in Jan 09 for dinner, to see Cindy and friends. DD4 loves Cindy & all Princess'. She is 4 & this will be here 5th visit to the world. 1st was when she was 23 months. Anyway, is Cindy & friends changing characters for the dinner buffet? No more Perla & suzy mouse instead Madame (whatever her name is) & the Step Sisters? Any truth to this rumr?

I want to say that I read this in the AllEars newsletter a few weeks back...I'm off to check my already-read email to confirm...

Ok, I can't find it in an AllEars newsletter...but I know I have heard that Suzy and Perla are being replaced with Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drizella.

I know I read about this more than just the DIS...and I'm pretty sure it's happening before December because when I read about it the first time, I remember thinking, "Cool. New Characters."

Now I have to find out where I read about this again...

I don't recall where, but I heard the change was going in effect when the refurb at 1900 Park Faire is complete.

I'm dining there in December with a group of fellow DISers. I too hope it's true. I saw them out in MK (behind the castle) when I was there in May and they were a riot. It should be interesting if they're in the same room with Cinderella and Prince Charming.

I was told it will definitely be in effect by December.. I asked her to double check, so she called a supervisor and said that it was for sure.
I wasn't too thrilled with the idea, dd isn't a fan of the step mother or sisters, but the CM said they really take cues from the children and will leave her alone if she seems apprehensive. I know that's true.. but we were looking forward to the Fairy Godmother and Suzy & Perla

We saw them at the pirate and princess party last Firday night and they weren't evil. Just kinda silly. They sang happy birthday terribly off key (on purpose - and very high too - I don't know how the one girl got up there so high!). One of them looked exactly like the girl in the movie/book though. The one in the green - I don't know which one is which.

I'm not sure we'll make this a must do though for the three of them. There are other characters other places we would rather see. And that's such a shame too - cause we love the food! May have to endure the characters to get to the food!

We met the stepmother and step sisters in March. They were so into the characters, and we loved it;they are not wicked, just had "attitude", and I will like to see them at 1900 Park Fare, but I wish Perla and Suzy would stay also. Perla and Suzy always dance around with my girls, and we love them....

My girls sometimes dress alike. The stepmother asked me if I knew they had dressed alike. I said yes, and she said 'that is so tacky'. I just laughed, but she was so serious. The snotty look on her face was priceless. They are not wicked, just silly, and they are actually cute....

What do you mean... it doesn't fly with you?? Do you mean that you think I'm making this up? The CM on the dining line told me it was true. I didn't ask when it starts because it doesn't/didn't concern me really. I asked more out of curiosity... this upcoming trip in a week will be our last Disney vacation for a few years.
