1900 Park Fare reservation +1

We have an ADR to 1900 Park Fare on Oct. 14th for four people. We've had another person join our party since I made the reservation. When I called Disney Dining to ask if they could add a fifth person, I was told the restaurant was completely booked for that night. Do you think they could make this adjustment at the podium? Or are we out of luck?

We added a fifth at the podium on several occasions during our last trip. It was actually on our second night we ate at 1900 Park Fare. Over the phone I was told there was no chance of adding a 5th to our ADR for 4. So my MIL ate elsewhere. When we arrived at the restaurant as a party of 4 we were seated at a table of six and ate dinner with 2 empty seats.
After that if we had a ressie for 4 and she wanted to come, she did and they were always able to accommodate us.

Thats great to know
We also will be going with 1 extra and was told that there wasn't any way to add an extra person.
That being said I have a chef mickey's on the 21st of Sept. for a party of 5 at 12:30 if anyone wants it let me know

You may have to wait a little longer since you will need a different table (as opposed to a party of five adding one since they were already at a six top), but I've never been turned away when adding or subtracting a person.
