1900 Park Fare Question...

Hello everyone, I am new so this is my first post, but i am liking this place already!

Ok here's the thing.

(My FAVORITE Disney character is Mary Poppins so just ta warn ya...)
When I went to 1900 Park Fare for the character breakfast, Mary Poppins was in the foyer greeting guests. (I got soooo excited, I hadn't seen her at all greeting when I was in the Magic Kingdom, needless to say I was heartbroken sooo...my Dad called and made reservations, checking to make sure she would be there) During the meal, I noticed that while all the other characters milled around the dining area (Tigger was very bouncy) Miss Poppins never came in.

Is she supposed to stay there? Sometimes when I look at other photos she's in the dining room. Does anybody know the answer? This was just something I was wondering...

I just heard MARY P. might be replaced by 5 of the PIXIES at 1900 park fair .

D***!!! NO WAY!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAH! That makes me soo mad! That seemed like the only place I could meet her! *cry cry cry*

We've seen Mary Poppins every time we've been to CRT.

Mary Poppins we were told, always stands in the foyer. You can have your photo taken with her there but she doesnt walk around the restaurant itself.She looked very prim and proper on the day we went!

We met Mary Poppins at CRT and in the UK shops in Epcot. DD also met her at breakfast in 1900 Park Fare. This was all back in December 2004.

She wore a lovely white dress at CRT and UK, but had on her hat and coat while at 1900 Park Fare.

DD loves Mary Poppins!

Mary Poppins is my favorite charactor and I went to the breakfast at 1900 PF just to see her. I was told that she is always in the foyer. I believe that a few years ago she used to come into the dining room.

I caught Mary P in her white dress with the penguin in MGM...you might want to check there on your next trip!

She's always been just in the foyer. I went to that breakfast about 9 years ago and she was out there and again last month and that's where she was =)

I hate to tell you but Mary Poppins was not there when we had breakfast there last month! I was really disappointed since my parents are huge Mary Poppins fans and couldn't wait to see her. Wendy from Peter Pan was there instead. Hopefully that was very unusal! I read somewhere on these boards that she doesn't ever mingle inside the restaurant when she has on her white dress. As for the five pixies I guess one of them would be Tinker Belle?

That does seem VERY UNUSUAL! Hmm that's strange... My dad called to MAKE SURE she WOULD be there! Wonder what happened? Maybe the person got sick at the last min. (?) HEY I COULD HAVE SUBSTITUTED! (Just Kidding)

Welcome to the DIS. Mary Poppins was in the foyer the whole time for my meal, in her red outfit. (The other characters there were Pooh, Tigger, Alice, and the Mad Hatter.) I also saw Mary Poppins at CRT, and the Epcot character bus, but both of those times she was in her white dress. I also saw a penguin by itself at MGM, near the Great Movie Ride.

We were at 1900 Park Fair on 11/26 and did not see Mary Poppins at all. Princess Aurora was in the foyer.

Even though Mary Poppins stayed in the foyer two weeks ago when we were there, she was SO gracious and wonderful with my niece. She spent much more time with her than the characters going table to table. These were Alice in Wonderland, Mad Hatter, Tigger and Pooh. And of course reminded my niece to "spit spot and stand tall" for her picture. The rest of the week my niece "spit-spotted" about everything!!!

For the evening meal, Fairy Godmother stays in the foyer and she also spent much more time with my niece than those going table to table, and of course, wonderfully dependable, reached down in her deep pocket and produced some "pixie dust", of course, "given to her by Tinkerbelle right before she came!!!"

Feel lucky you saw her at all...We were at WDW for a week in May and we never once saw her AT ALL ANYWHERE!!!! My DD was so upset that she never got to see her.

We were just at park fare on nov.18th and mary poppins was in the lobby. We were told that is where she stays. We also saw her at the castle lunch. She is one of my favs!!!!!!!!!!!!!
