1900 Park Fare question...

We are staying 3 nights at AKL, then 3 at GF. Since we will be right there, do you think the 1900 Park Fare breakfast buffet w/ characters is something just H and I would be interested in doing? Or since it's just us, should we skip it and just do a quick counter service or park breakfast?
Also, do you need adr's for it? I am guessing I already know the answer is "yes" to this...

We went to 1900 Park Fare for breakfast and you definately need a booking. The food was lovely but it was VERY busy and hectic, if you don't mind the very busy type of meals then you will enjoy it and you are staying in the hotel then it would be handy. If you are looking for a meal that is a little quiter (like Boma Breakfast) then I would give it a miss.

We enjoyed our breakfast there, but it was certainly not close to a favourite breakfast for us.

Do 1900 Park Fare for DINNER! It is my favourite dining experience. Cinderella, the Prince, Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters and they are so fun to interact with. And the food is amazing!

The Prince and Cinderella come out and do a dance and then get kids to dance with them.......

The Stepsisters seem to enjoy the men....Lady Tremaine is her old grumpy self not enjoying any of it.

They have some funny catch phrases - like my DD was wearing her ears and one asked if she hears better with 4 ears and anoter asked if it is stylish to dress up like a rat where we come from.

We've done it 3 times and loved it every time but it is better now with all actors - they used to have the mice who couldn't talk.

I'm with mtmbyck, if you are only doing one meal at 1900 - I'd do dinner. It is wonderful & entertaining. We do both as my DDs are Alice in Wonderland fans (breakfast), but my DH and I LOVE the Tremaine touch at WDW.

The food is very good & they have quite a variety.

The ladies that do these parts are perfectly in character & very entertaining. My DD asked Anastacia to sing - and sure enough she screached just like in the movie. Very funny to us. The man at the next table tried to buy one of the daughters from Lady Tremaine, and haggled for a while. We would not miss this meal, it was a favorite.

YES YES YES! I love 1900 PF for dinner. The characters are wonderful. When DH and I went for our Disneymoon one of the step-sisters came up to me and started questioning me.

"So you got MARRIED?!?! Well then he must have a lot of money or a big castle and a nice horse..."

It was hysterical.

Cinderella threw a big fit about her and I having so much in common due to the fact that we had both finally found our Prince Charmings...it was all so great

We had the last seating for dinner at 1900 PF last Feb (all we could get at 6 weeks out).

DD(5) was very sleepy and putting her head on the table when we were trying to get pictures. Anastasia said "I bet she perks up when that Cindersnot comes over." It was so funny, in fact my daughter was just talking about it again tonight.

Sounds like we're going to 1900 PF for dinner...I like the idea of Cinderella (she's my favorite Disney Character) of all time. Don't ask why, she just is So yes...we're definitely doing this!!!!

I do 1900 every time I Go but for Dinner... Its a buffet that dosnt dissapoint. Great for kids and adults. Pictures are great for kids and adults!!!! The mashed potatos are perfect!!!!!!!

never had the breafkast but from what I have heard its hectic!

have to agree with above rather have a hectic quick meal at Main Street Bakery (Cinnamon Rolls!) then try and rush through breakfast and then back to the park!
