We have been to Ohana for dinner before and love it. I haven't heard great things about the food at 1900 Park Fare, but seeing the step-sisters I heard is great. We have 5 kids in our group, 2 boys & 3 girls, ranging from 2-10 years old. We have to pick one. Which one would you suggest we do? TIA!

When I had young kids, I let them decide what we did at the park - so I would let them vote.

This philosophy did result in me spending 4 days at EPCOT following the double decker character bus around one year. We saw every stop it made. My 3 year old daughter memorized the song and dance after day 1 and was brought up to perform with the characters after that. People thought she worked at the park and asked for pictures with her. And - on our last day - the characters brought her a bouquet of chocolate roses. It was a little intense. Another year we spent 4 hours a day in the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground. And we ended up doing essentially no rides and seeing only characters for a week one year. However - those were the best trips.

If they were mine and they voted for 1900 - we would go there. The adults would have a nice dinner of our choice without them when we got back.

We've gone to 1900 park fare for dinner twice. The first time the food was horrible but characters were great. Each trip I let my kids each pick one meal and my daughter asked to go there. 2nd time food was great but characters were rushed. Ohana is my must do each trip, always fun for the kids and food has always been great.

We've done both and while we loved the step sisters at 1900 PF, we didn't like the food. With that said, if you've never been, I'd maybe give it a try as everyone's opinion/experience is different. Even though we didn't care for the food, we loved the entertainment and thought the step sisters were hilarious. Good luck!

We might be among the minority, we actually really enjoyed our meal at 1900 Park Fare two years ago. Of course, the main thing really is characters (the stepsisters even recognize us days later in the Parks), but the meal itself was very good. Lots of options. Desserts were just ok, but we would go back without a doubt!

We go to Ohana every trip. We have done 1900 PF a few times before, a long time ago. Nothing was wrong with the food, but you're really going there for the characters.

Never had Ohana, but my family thought 1900 PF was fantastic. The food was delicious and the characters were so entertaining!

If you've never gone, I'd give 1900 PF a try. Our last visit there was in March and we had a great meal (much better than previous trips). We've also had some of our best character interactions there!

We had a really good time at 1900 PF when we dined there. The stepsisters spent quite a bit of time at our table and were a riot. We would definitely go there again. In saying that, we have never been to 'Ohana (for dinner), but it is in our plans for our August trip.

My children have said they liked Ohana the most. They liked the food and had more fun.

Oh man tough choice!! They're both so great. We actually enjoyed the food at 1900 and yes the stepmother and step sisters are fantastically hilarious! We loved them! On the other hand the food at Ohana is soooo delicious! I couldn't make that decision lol

With all of those kids I would do 1900 but don't expect much out of the food. Ohana is a little more of a "grown up" experience IMO. They do have little coconut races and parades for the kids but they seem almost thrown in there out of desperation to me just to try to keep the little kids that do wind up there entertained but they are pretty unhyped little experiences and are over and done really quickly.

Thanks everyone for your opinions! This will be our dinner in one week. One of those will be our dinner and the other will be showing up for someone else to grab on the December cancellations thread. I just still don't know which one! 1900 Park Fare may win for us this time. :)

We were at 1900 Park Fare this past January and thought the food was very good. The three of us have very different food preferences, and we all found plenty of tasty options there. The Tremaynes, though, are fabulous! The one downside to that meal for us was the noise level, but everything else made the experience worthwhile and one of our most fun memories of that trip.
