1900 Park Fare or GF Cafe

Hello!

I am trying to decide if it is worth it to make a trip to GF to go to either of these restaurants. As for 1900 - can you tell me what is on the menu for dinner and which characters will be there? Thanks!

I WOULD DEFINATELY MAKE THE TRIP. THIS RESORT IS BEAUTIFUL AND IS WORTH A VISIT AT ANY TIME. I PREFER THE CAFE. ITS A BEAUTIFUL ROOM AND A VERY RELAXED ATMOSPHERE. I ENJOY BREAKFAST THERE EVERY YEAR DURING OUR STAYS.

1900 Park Fare is a fun character buffet. We went once, and didn't have any complaints. I'm sure you can find lots of reviews and information if you do a search on it.

My vote is 1900 Park Fare. It just has a much better atmosphere.

I agree...GO..The GF is a beautiful resort. We ate at 1900 Park Fare last Thanksgiving, the food was great and the characters were wonderful (Cinderella, Prince Charming, Step Mother and both Sisters). It was one of our "funnest" dinners ...of course we are HUGE Cinderella fans, so it was right up our alley.

I am so glad to hear that... we are going to 1900 PF in Sept. and DDs are very excited about the characters!

I would pick 1900 Park Fare @ the GF. We just got back from our Disney vacation and our stay at the GF resort and we had reservations for 1900 on our arrival night. It was just FABULOUS!!!! Character interaction was awesome and the food was delicious!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't really consider the GF cafe so I don't know much about it but I think if you are going wanting something with some major atmosphere, then the 1900 Park Fare is definitely the right choice Here are some pics from our visit to 1900 Park Fare. This will be the choice for our arrival dinner on all of our future visits to WDW Have fun

Again, if you decide on 1900 Park Fare you won't be disappointed in the food, atmosphere, entertainment by the characters. It was just awesome! As far as the food goes, it is an all you can eat buffet featuring soooooooo many choices for everyone! DH & DS LOVED the prime rib and ds LOVED the mac n cheese. DD LOVED the ceasar salad and rice and I LOVED the stirfry beef & veggies with rice. It was YUMMO!! I also like the mashed potatoes, ceasar salad and mac n cheese. This was just a small sample of the food they had. They had a carving station, etc...........It was an expansive buffet. We enjoyed it ALOT! We didn't do dessert except hubby did the cheesecake bites. We had ordered a cake to be delivered to our table after dinner for our kids b-days and their 1st trip to Disney welcoming them and the cake was DELICIOUS! We ordered it from the GF Bakery. It was handpiped and everything. Here is a pic. Again, HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME IF YOU CHOOSE the 1900 PARK FARE! IT WAS AWESOME!!!!
