Title says it all! Half the family says CP and the other half says 1900 Park Fare. We only have one dinner left to book, so we have to choose one. Thanks!

I've never eaten at 1900 Park Fare, but we ate at Crystal Palace on our last trip and had a GREAT experience! We loved the Pooh Characters and the food was good. We will eat there again! Don't know if that helped any...but that's my $0.02!

I would have to say if you have to choose one or the other i would choose the crystal palace. if you really want to do a princess theme then get the one in teh castle.. i was very disappointed with the food / service and the characters in the the grand floridian.

If your already going to be in MK I'd go for Crystal Palace. The food is good and you get Pooh characters. If you want to ride the monorail, then 1900.
We ate at 1900 for dinner in Dec. and it was very good. We had a great server and along with Cinderella, Perl, & Suzy, we got to see Aladdin & Jasmine.
Aladdin & Jasmine were standing outside the entrace, they were not coming around to the tables, like the others. Prince Charming had a prior engagement (what Cindy to us) so he was not there.

I guess I'm a bit different but I would pick 1900 Park Fare. We liked Crystal Palace okay but the experience was much more enjoyable for us at the GF

We went to the 1900. We really had a great time. We were greeted by Sleeping Beauty - she actually sat and talked to us for 20 min. while we waited for our seats! We went on Valentine's Day (2yrs. ago). The food was good and there was plenty of it! The strawberry soup was to die for! Cinderella came in along with Prince Charming. They were very the characters! Cinderella even kissed my then 2 1/2 year-old son on the cheek. He still talks about it!!! Perla and Susie were there too! We had a blast! We haven't been to Crystal so I can't comment on it. The Grand Floridian is gorgeous. The plus side is that you can also ride the monorail there. Oh, we also saw an Elvis impersonator!

1900 Park Fare....we loved that.

CP was o.k.....but it took a long time for all of the characters to come around.

I'd go with the characters. The meals were of a similiar quality to me at both. The upside of CP is you're already in the parks. But really it comes down to Pooh or Cinderella and friends.

I'm a 1900 Park Fare Fan, love everything about this restaurant. The food is very good, character inter-action is great, service great and I love the atmosphere of this resort.

I'm also a lover of Pooh and Friends, so a visit to Crystal Palace is always a must. Food is good, characters good, but this is a large restaurant and it's always full. The seating is a little tight, small tables and lots of noise.

1900 hands down. I have done both and the food in the GF was so much better as was the character interaction. It is our absolute favorite!

If you are going for the characters - CP, if you are going for the food, - GF.

You can always do breakfast at CP and dinner at GF!!

Just went to 1900 pf last week. We loved it. The food at the buffet was the best quality and variety we thought compared to Chef Mickey's. We saw Suzy, Perla, Cindy and Prince Charming. Fairy godmother was in the entrance but didn't go to the tables. Since we'll probably never get to stay at the GF, it's nice to at least visit and see how the other half lives!

This is in a nutshell what your choice boils down to.

Do you want characters from the movie Cinderella in a ballroom? Or do you want characters from Pooh in the conservatory?

Both places are about the same food wise. Some nights one is better, some nights the other. And the menu changes. Some nights one has more deluxe items. Some nights the other. Both have their detracters, and both have their followings. And to be honest, from what I've seen on the boards, it runs about 80% or so thumbs up, 20% or so thumbs down for both. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

My vote is for 1900. Going to 1900 allowd for a break from the park -- and that wonderful Strawberry Soup!

Crystal Palace. The food at 1900 was average at best. The character interaction was good, but thats about it. Not really worth the $$$
