Which would you choose? I have 3 boys age 4 and younger. We have already been to Chef Mickey's. We are also doing a couple other character meals. I would like to try a different character meal but I am wondering if they would be interested in the characters at 1900 Park Fare.

My boys are 12 and 6 and they liked 1900 park faire. The step sisters are funny and they interact well with the kids. Actually all of the characters took the time to talk to my kids. We liked it as much as chef mickeys if not more!

I've never been to 1900 but the food at Chef Mickey's is only ok, but the characters are good. Decent enough that we will go back. My DH said he thought the meats were decent. The salads were nice and fresh but the desserts were yuck!

I guess it also depends on if you plan on doing breakfast or dinner. You'll find that the reviews of both places will vary significantly between the two.

We've done CM breakfast and thought it was pretty good, but like you, want to try new places so we booked 1900 PF for breakfast next trip. Also, the characters are different than at dinner. So that's another consideration. My son (7) can't wait to meet the Mad Hatter.

If you're talking about dinner, we've been to both places twice and enjoyed the characters each time.

In 12/07 we thought the food was better at Chef Mickey's. In 12/10 we thought the food at 1900 Park Fare was way better. In fact, I don't think Chef Mickey's will be on our list next time.

We haven't eaten breakfast at CM at all. The Park Fare breakfast was very good in '07 and had fun characters - Alice, Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, Pooh and Tigger.

If I had to pick breakfast at Park Fare or Chef Mickey's based only on food for me, I'd have to go hands down with 1900 Park Fare......lobster eggs benedict....what more can I say.....:cloud9:

Thanks everyone! We will be staying at the Contemporary so I guess for that reason we have decided to try Chef Mickey's one more time. I am still thinking about moving things around to get 1900 Park Fare in somewhere.

I think 1900 Park Fare food was better... and it's a good excuse to see the Grand Floridian.

I really enjoyed Chef Mickey's for dinner. The characters are great and so is the food.

If you're going for the food, I'd say 1900PF. If you're going for the characters, that will be a preference only your family can determine.:earsboy:
