1900 Park Fare or Chef Mickey's for Breakfast

My family is going in June. We usually go to Crystal Palace for the breakfast buffet. But my daughers - ages 15 and 17 - want to try either 1900 Park Fare or Chef Mickey's this year for breakfast. Which one has the better food and fun character interaction? Thanks for all your help.

We have done both and found Chef Mickey's to be more fun! Now we only go to Chef Mickey's. It's hard to put a reason on this. Every family will be different and have different tastes, but CM is just right for us!

We too have done both and think 1900 Park Fare is much better. Views on this one are going to be varied. 1900 is quieter but the food is much better. They are two different set ups I admit - just a personal view.

We loved the characters at 1900 Park Fare during breakfast. Mary Poppins was a personal favorite, our DD's loved Alice in Wonderland, and The Mad Hatter was a total family favorite. He was so funny! And all of the characters spent a good amount of time at all the tables. Not to mention the food was very good.

Thank said, we didn't have breakfast at Chef Mickey so I can't compare. But we LOVED 1900 Park Fare!

My daughter's first character meal was at 1900 Park Fare and she loved it. The characters are one's you don't usually find. We loved the menu and the ambience. We had a bad experience at Chef Mickey's a couple of years ago prior to MNSSHP and wound up not being able to eat there and vowing never to return, so I cannot vouch for the food or character interaction.

The food at 1900 Park Fare is far and away the best character breakfast buffet, including an omelet station where the chef will make you whatever you want. Don't get me wrong, I like Chef Mickey's too, and will be doing both on our upcoming trip, but the food is just better at 1900. Have a great trip!

For a lot of people, three things set PF apart from the others...

1) Made to order omelet bar
2) Chilled strawberry soup
3) Bread pudding with vanilla sauce

If you are going for the food...IMHO 1900 Park Fare is the best character breakfast (love those omlets) on the property. If you are going to a character breakfast to see the Fab 5 (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto) then Chef Mickey's is the way to go!

We enjoy Chef Mickey's for breakfast (don't care for the dinner) and 1900 PF for dinner (both breakfast and dinner here are good).
