1900 Park fare or Chef Mickey

Which of the two is preferable? How's breakfast and how's the dinners?

We've done both for dinner and we all prefer 1900. While both are loud chef mickeys is louder. I liked the selection of food at 1900 better although last trip the chef changed and they didn't offer all the same items as in the past. My son loves the strawberry soup, my mom the chicken marsala, my husband and dad are big in salad and salmon. Lots of choices for everyone. As for breakfast we did chef mickeys, we have never needed to do it again nothing that was a must have and memorable.

Chef Mickey's is good for characters but that's about it. I don't care for the food.

We've done breakfast at CM and dinner at 1900. 1900 was our favorite character meal by far. This time it'll be Cape May for breakfast but dinner again at 1900.

Agreed.

In terms of food, I find 1900 Pare Fare to be much better quality and selection, and also less expensive than Chef Mickey's.

But, it also depends on your group's character preferences. DD likes face characters more, and we'd already made an effort to see Mickey et al in the parks.

The breakfast at 1900 Park Fare is really very good! I have heard only negative comments regarding the food at Chef Mickey's, i'm sure some people like it but in my opinion 1900 park fare is a much better food choice!

1900 PF was my family's favorite ADR this summer, both for food and for entertainment. The characters are so awesome!

1900 PF is one of our family favorites! The breakfast is awesome and the Mad Hatter is a must!

I will do another vote for 1900. We have done both many times- and we really loved 1900 for breakfast much more. The atmosphere is great, character interaction isn't as rushed, and the buffet has something for everyone. We found CM to be quite chaotic in the am- regardless of what time we went.

1900 PF became our Fam Fav. for character breakfast..Even better than TH in AK. 1900 we also tried on our last trip for dinner, and although the character interaction was fun the meal itself was just meh.

CM is always great w/ the characters, but the meal/food is very underwhelming there..Sry, just my $.02

We have done 1900 PF several times for breakfast and CM once for dinner so I can't compare meals. While we had a great experience at CM, we do prefer 1900 PF. We think their service, food quality, and character experiences are the best of all of the character meals we have tried. We haven't done them all, though. If we do plan a character meal, though, we just seem to keep going back to 1900 PF because we believe we will consistently get our money's worth.
