I've heard great reviews of breakfast, but how about dinner? Good food? Good character interaction? If you could only do one, which would you do at 1900 PF - breakfast or dinner?

We have been there for breakfast and loved it. On our next trip we are going to do dinner because we had such a great experience at breakfast. I guess I am not really answering your question, but we will go back!

We had the dinner there and it was probably our 3rd best meal. It is buffet but a very upscale buffet. The food was excellent. The character interaction was good as well.

Do the little girls dress up? I made a ressie for my DD at Bibbiddi Bobbiddi Boutique the afternoon we will be eating at 1900 for dinner. She already asked if she could wear her blue Cinderella Dress.
TIA

Oh, great! Sounds like they're both really good. I thought maybe the foor might be better at one or the other. Life is hard. Maybe in all fairness we'll just have to do both! :rotfl: (Well, it is free this trip.)

I think that will be adorable! I'm sure the characters will make a fuss over her if she's all dressed up! :)

:thumbsup2 We had dinner there for the first time in November and it was excellent. The food choice was outstanding and the characters were nice. There was Cinderella, Prince Charming and the 2 mice. It was crowded for dinner but each character came by our table twice. But I'm guessing breakfast is just as good. Have a great vacation. :wave2:

We took our 2yr DD there for dinner, and she dressed up as Cinderella. She had a great time.
IMO, 1900 PF has the best food of any buffet on property.

We've been there twice now for dinner. Once on Dining Plan and once we paid for it. It's our favorite buffet. They food is excellent! :Pinkbounc My daughter has proclaimed the pizza the best ever. They have all the kids favs. Both times we've had, I think, the latest time available. And even though we've been the last (or almost last) in the room, they kept putting out fresh food until the last guest left. We like eating later-one benefit is that the room is much quieter. One drawback has been the characters. The first time-Sept 2005-we saw all the characters (Cindy, Charming, Suzy, and Perla) of course the 2 main ones only came around once. However, Suzy come back around and around again-my DD6 even got ot dance with Suzy. Last time (Jan 06), our ressie was the absolute latest they made and the room was practically empty. We saw Cindy and Charming once. Perla hung around for most of the meal. Suzy never did make an appearance however, we had a special treat-Sleeping Beauty came by. Our server, Michael, said that this was a "very special treat" as he had only seen SB a few times during the years he's worked there.

We haven't had breakfast there, we're not much on big, sit down breakfasts-we like to get going fast in the a.m. You're daughter can definitely dress up (or not). Most of the girls do, and even some of the boys.

One of the benefits of the Dining Plan is trying new restaurants. My daughter now prefers Park Faire (even over Storybook Princess' in Norway). We are returning to the world this Sept. (free Dining again! ) and I'll be making my dinner ressies for PF today. It'll probably be our only character meal.

Have a great time!

I'm not a buffet-lover but even I really enjoy this meal!! Dd always wears her princess dress to dinner at 1900. She just glows in the light of all the attention she gets. Dh and I love the food. Be sure to try some of the freshly prepared pastas in the area to the left of the main buffet. Yummy!

We loved 1900 Park Fare for both breakfast and dinner. It is by far our favorite for character meals. We have done both in the past month.

I'm another supporter of dinner. We went last year and I thought the food was the best buffet I've ever had at Disney. You have to try the strawberry soup! Even their PB&J is fantastic.

The character attention was unmatched - we saw Cindy, Charming, Perla, Suzy, and the other mouse (name??) They actually came around so much that it was hard to eat. We had a late dinner 7:00 so the dining room was full when we went in but emptied out as the evening went on.

This is a must for dinner if you've never been.
