On our departure day, we decided to go to 1900 Park Fare for a late breakfast. I have booked an ADR for 11:00 am. My DH is very excited because Alice in Wonderland is his favourite Disney movie. When I called, the CM told me that besides the Alice characters and Mary Poppins, Pooh would be there too!

We have never done a character meal before (We've also got dinner at Garden Grill booked for the night before) or a breakfast ADR. Having checked out the menu, it looks way nicer than other breakfast menus. There's a great deal of variety! I also look for any excuse I can to go to GF.

So, I'm wondering if anyone has gone to this meal. Did you like it? What was it like?

This is exactly what we did during our stay last October. We checked out and had breakfast at 1900 Park Fare and it was great. They had many different choices and we left full for our drive home. We also love the Garden Grill, the character interaction is wonderful. It is a must do for us. Hope you have as excellent of an experience as we did.

Tigger is there, as well. And the food's good, too. Charmingly lovely setting. If you time it right, you may even get to meet Wendy.

We went at 10:30ish on our check out day, we wanted to sleep in. We did 3 other character breakfasts at 8am ish and they were awesome. 1900 PF was not...the food was dried out and over cooked, the fruit tasted like refrigeration, the pastries and bread was dry, the place was a super mad house with people everywhere and the noise level was out of control.

DH is not bending about going back he hated it that much. I want to try dinner or maybe a very early breakfast (see if the time makes a difference) but he is dead set against it.

Cant get him to go back to Chef Mickeys dinner either, the food was that bad

I love 1900 Park Fare for breakfast - I go almost every trip, get the latest seating I can, and have yet to be disappointed. Great food, fresh and tasty, good service, and great character interaction.

Last time we saw Alice, Mad Hatter (they are hilarious together), Pooh, and Tigger. Plus Mary Poppins in the foyer.

We LOVE 1900 Park Fare for breakfast!:lovestruc DH and I ate there on our honeymoon and the choices seemed endless...of course, DH ate Frosted Flakes with whole milk!

We ate there again this past January with our 2 DD's (ages 2 and 4) and they also loved it. The characters were great and they are very attentive.

The food was delicious. I loved the bread pudding with vanilla sauce. There is about every breakfast food known to man on the various buffets. There is even ice cream (well, it might be frozen yogurt, I can't remember) ... for breakfast!

We loved it so much, it will be one of our ADR's for EVERY trip we take from now on!

Thanks for the reviews. I'm pleased to hear that that majority of people loved it! There seems to be so much of a variety! Thanks for reassuring my decision.

I used to go all the time, especially with my Dad. Haven't been in a number of years though. With the new dining plan, I only do one character breakfast if I take the notion...but I usually pay for it out of pocket. I like to get the most out of the dining plan that I can. When I used to go to 1900 was with the old dining plan...where you got a breakfast a dinner each day. In those days, we used to like 1900 Park Fare, Chef Mickeys and Cape May Cafe.

We love 1900 Park Fare for breakfast. We normally do an early entry in MK one moring and then a 10:30 AM 1900 Park Fare breakfast.

Ditto to all the good remarks above.

One more to add.... there is a Chef who make omlettes to order. How every you need them (specialty diets are ok) and what ever you want in them.
My DD just got a plain egg omelette - nothing in it - but the egg was fresh, hot and just cooked infront of her (she has a wheat allergy, so there was no cross-contanmination). I love the omlette with cheese and green peppers.
I make some toast in the bread area (fresh, made by me) and some cut up fruit from the buffet.
The food is fresh, good and a bit on the healthy side.

If you are celebrating an anniversary or birthday, do tell them on your ADR and at the podium - no matter what the age of the person is.
Not sure what they do for anniversary's, but for birthdays you get confetti on your table, a cupcake (yes, even at breakfast), a placemat (if you are a kid I think), and a crown (for guys) or tiara (for gals).

Thanks for the tip, Pooh. We are actually celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary on the trip. We did get the CM to note it on the ADR but we'll mention it again when we get to the podium.
