We are eating at 1900 Park Fare for DD's 8th Birthday next week. Will they do anything special for her Birthday? I've looked at the cake thread, but I just don't think I want to spend that kind of money for a cake, especially when it seems to be hit or miss on what you get. Just curious what your experience has been if you have eaten there for a birthday. We did Chef Mickey's one year for our oldest. It seems like they brought her a placemat and a cupcake (or something like that). We'll probably do a cake in the room for her.

Pretty much every restaurant will do the b-day cupcake if they know it's her b-day. It's a cute little touch and free of charge

Yes, 1900 Park Fare did do something special for my birthday. At one point during dinner they brought out cupcakes for those celebrating birthdays. Certainly make sure her birthday is noted on your ADR. ::MinnieMo

We celebrated my DD's 13th birthday there 2 years ago and she got a placemat signed by everyone, confetti on the placemat and a cupcake. It was definitely cute!

We dined there on DD's b-day & when one of the step-sisters learned it was DD's ACTUAL b-day, she brought out TWO cupcakes for DD & loudly announced to our area of the restaurant that "this girl gets two because it is her real b-day & she doesn't lie like everyone else". :rotfl:

If you are familiar with the step-sisters and how they act, then you totally understand why I found this so funny.

We were there on my DD's actual birthday too but no double cupcake. :goodvibes She was still made to feel special.

Nothing too special, just the regular cupcake. Although they had a nice placemat! We would have loved to take it with us but we weren't sure if were allowed to take it and too embarassed to ask our waitress about it so... we left it :(

Perhaps since your daughter is very young (my sis was 17 for her celebration there) they might get the characters to do something special for her, i don't know for sure though.

However I will highly recommend 1900PF! You should check out my review if you're interested, the link is in my signature :)

Here's a pic of the cupcake

I took my niece there for her birthday and she got the signed placemat, a birthday cupcake and a birthday crown.
