1900 Park Fare Dinner

I was thinking of making Priority Seating at 1900 Park Fare restaurant for dinner during our December vacation stay. I wanted something special. We are two adults (just me and my DH). Is this a good choice? Is the food good and worth the price?

Being a character meal, do you think we will feel out of place?

DW and I had dinner at 1900 Park Fare during one of our recent trips. We had a good time, and did not feel out of place. The food was good, but there are other WDW dinner buffets that have even better food. Of course, most aren't character meals.

Being at WDW a couple at any Character meal is NOT out of place. I took a friend of mine to 1900 Park Fare. He had never been to any Disney Park or resort before this trip. He liked the characters. But my opinion is that 1900 Park Fare is an okay meal in a pretty room and it is fun. The food is fine but not awesome or wonderful. There are some things that are really good but I have found it to be just okay.

If you do eat there you should consider doing the special Cinderella Slipper desserts. We are going to eat there next time we go so we can get these and see Cinderella without going to the princess breakfast at CRT.

I absolutely would not have one minute of concern about going to a character meal (or anywhere on Disney property) without kids!
But, I have to say, this is not one of our favorite dinners. We enjoy 1900 Park Fare for breakfast...but dinner seems to be a cut below in our opinion. (Chilled strawberry soup is very good, though, I must say...and so is the vanilla bread pudding.)
I like to recommend Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge or Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge for people looking for something "special."
BUT...having said that...1900 Park Fare gets very good reviews from most people and you may love it! Have fun whatever you choose.
