Hello! I hope someone can help!!

I just took advantage of great after Halloween costume bargains and am now thinking I picked the wrong ones. I bought a complete Belle costume for the 1900 Park Fare breakfast. Was that a big no-no?

I also bought Jasmine for the Princess Storybook breakfast. I dont think either could be used at 1900. I dont care if my daughter doesnt go in costume, she has plenty of clothes to wear, but I hate the thought of buying the outfit for nothing. I have the following character meals reserved...can she wear Belle to any of these...

1900 PF Breakfast
Chef Mickeys Breakfast
Donalds Safari Breakfast
PSB Breakfast - Epcot (I have a costume for this one)
Liberty Tree Dinner w/ MVMCP tix same night
Hollywood & Vine Breakfast (I think this is just JoJo and Einstein)
OHanas Breakfast and OHanas Dinner (Dinner doesnt have a character does it?)

TIA

Breakfast at 1900 Park Fair typically has Alice, Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, Tigger and Pooh. At Norway PSB Belle usually greets guests in her yellow dress before they are seated while the other Princesses go from table to table. I know that Jasmine was there one of the two times that we had breakfast there. Hope this helps.

I think Belle would be fine for 1900 Park Fare. When we had dinner there I saw lots of little girls dressed up in alll sorts of princess outfits. :)

One year, at a late dinner seating at 1900 park faire, Belle was actually there, but this was rare, and she was in her blue and white outfit. All the same, if your daughter feels special in the outfit, it won't matter a tick!:cloud9: ...My dd9 sized out of Disney stuff at 7, and this last visit to Park Faire, she wore a gown (prom style) we ordered for her (size16) which she enjoyed wearing! I am sure the outfit is lovely...don't worry!:hippie:

Breakfast is Alice, Mad Hatter,Mary Poppins, and Pooh Characters...we didn't even dress up for that!

You'll see young princesses decked out in everything from daytime shorts/jeans to various Disney princesses to generic princesses to incredible custom outfits (usually--but not always--made by the mother).

It's absolutely appropriate for royalty to visit the domicile of another princess--or commoners (Pooh or other Disney characters). :)

I would let her wear her Belle Costume to 1900 ... DD6 wore her Complete Belle Outfit to 1900 Dinner and she loved it!!! The Prince made a wonderful 'to-do' about princess Belle... DD9 wore a cute pair of pink shorts/cute white summer top and a tiara and she fit right in a well. All the girls were different... some had on outfits, costumes others like my DD9 had on regular clothes. THEY ALL HAD FUN!

Thank you all for your replies.

I feel better that she wont stick out like a sore thumb in yellow if the whole room is blue! I did want her to get at least one use out of it!

i thought you meant for you the first time i read it, lol.... for your daughter it'd be fine. I've seen lots of kids wearing costumes everywhere including to dinner. Have fun.:thumbsup2

I LOVE Disney. I would do almost anything to go on a vacation to the World. My breaking point, where I would have to say "No thanks, cancel my ADRs", would be if I needed to wear a Belle costume to a restaurant!

(But thanks for making me picture myself in the costume!!)
