I read somewhere they have an actual skit, little play type show during the dinner but now all I can find is that it is a character dinner. We will be eating at Cinderella Royal Table 3 nights before Park Fare so not sure if I should keep the reservation or not.

Unless things have changed since March 2010, it's just a character dinner. BUT it is a fun one! LOVE the step-mother and step-sisters!!

this was one of our FAVORITE meals !!! :goodvibes we went our first night... my step-daughter is kind of shy, so I didn't know how she'd do w/ the characters. Let me tell you, that kid had the time of her life !!! :cool1:

Cinderella and Prince Charming are great....but are severely upstaged by Lady Tremaine and the step sisters !! They completely steal the show ! They are beyond hilarious and the way Lady Tremaine turns her nose up at the kids, like they're all stinky and dirty little things, is too funny. The step sisters like to play. Our DD4 was dressed in the same colors as Anastasia, so Anastasia made a huge deal over them "being twins" and she was going to take my DD with her so she could have a doll to play with. It was so funny! my DD came right out of her shell, "posed " in the same goofy poses the sisters did and laughed her head off at Lady Tremaine.

I promise, you'll have a fantastic time ! oh, and the food is good too! :rotfl2:...... the dessert table is even better. they have these chocolate mousse things in chocolate cups... OMG !!! YUM!!! You will knock kids out of the way to get to these..... :rotfl:

The characters were the best part of the meal..the food was just nasty

We LOVE this one! Much better than CRT, imo. Also wanted to add that while it's not a "show", at one point the characters are all announced and Cinderella and the Prince dance to "So this is love" and then both turn to some of the little boys and girls and have a dance with some of them as well.
The stepsisters are also a show in themselves they are so hilarious! You will enjoy watching their interaction with other tables as much as at your own!

The food here is also very good. The buffet (and mind you, we are not usually big buffet people) is divided into foods from different countries. There is a section for Italian, a section for French, a section from Mexico, etc. We loved the meal too!

I agree with MickeyNicki!!!!! The characters were great, esp the step sisters. They were a riot!!!!!!!!! But the food, WOW! So disappointing!!! It was awful. The desserts were also incredibly disappointing. I wouldnt go back. But im glad i went for the characters thou.

Do a lot of people feel this way about the food there? I'd love to hear more views.

Lady Tremaine and the step sisters were great when we went! Lady Tremaine introduced me to Anastasia as she said my wife and daughter were my sisters I played along and we all had a great time. Oh and the strawberry soup that I have read about before I did try and it did not disappoint! have fun!

Sounds like af un character meal. Glad we have it booked and we will definitely keep it. As far as the food reviews I am hoping to be there on one of the good days even though I am not a buffet lover. Sounds like just as many people dislike the food as like it, I'll see for myself which catagory I fall into.

we ate there for the 2nd time in may and had a blast. my kids were kinda young their first trip to get the whole interacting thing. this trip drizella got engaged to ds and took off dancing with him half way up the restaurant! she planted a kiss on his forehead too. my dd will be their maid. lol there was no shortage of antics there.

I just gave my opinion about the food in the Vegan/Vegetarian. This was the most disappointing meal we have had in our three trips. We do the dining plan each time and try to mix it up, so we have been to a few...O'Hana, CP, Tuskerhouse, Boma, Jiko, CRT, Chefs, 50's Prime Time, Cape May...The food and service were definitely sub-par at 1900 Park Fare. My dh also thought the restaurant had a funky odor to it. :confused3 We left hungry and regretted our meal there. Maybe we had a really, really off night.

I'm been hemming & hawing over our upcoming ADR here because we will not have our kids with us. Too bad we didn't eat here with our kids last year! I'm going to cancel and look elsewhere for my husband & I to eat that night.

Actually, considering we'll be in DTD that day shopping and attending MNSSHP that night - cancelling looks better & better. I think I would rather eat in DTD, or in MK, or grab a quick CS meal that night.
