These are the places we ate at. Any questions about any of them, I would be glad to help out. We did 1900 Park Fare for both breakfast and dinner, Chef Mickey's, Storybook Princess, My Disney Princess Tea, Rainforest Cafe, DDD, CRT. If you have any questions, feel free to ask away :)

What Princesses were at Storybook? Thanks!

We are doing the tea? How long is Aurora there? how is the interaction with her? Is it worth the 200 bucks I am shelling out?

1900 park fare breakfast or dinner? How was the food?

We did both the breakfast & dinner @ 1900 Park Fare and would do both of them again, easily. Wonderful selection for both meals. Buffet has a wide variety for everyones tastes and the food was very good. The character interaction at breakfast was Pooh, Tigger, Alice, Mad Hatter and Mary Poppins. We got pictures and autographs with all of them and they were all very good interacting. The MadHatter was a REAL HOOT :) The dinner was delicious. My fav was a beef stirfry dish. Hubby LOVED the prime rib. The characters were Cinderella, Prince Charming, the 2 stepsisters and the stepmom. They were again, ALL WONDERFUL in interacting. I wouldn't hesitate to do either again :)

Which meal did you have at CRT? How was it? Did you book right at your 180 window? Was the ADR difficult to get? Thanks!:)

Sleeping Beauty is there more towards the end of the tea but she interacts with the all the children and she parades around a little dance with them and then comes to each table to talk and do autographs and gives each girl a real beautiful rose. Rose Petal really is the main focus but she is soooooooooo wonderful in her singing and entertaining that you really don't miss Sleeping Beauty but when she does arrive, it is a very special moment. My dd loves Sleeping Beauty too and it was wonderful seeing her reaction. It is worth ALL the $$$ so don't 2nd guess yourself. It was a magical experience that dd and I will cherish. To have shared it together was well worth the money. It makes you feel very special and is really a small little gathering. The doll is adorable dressed in Sleeping Beauty outfit and when your child unwraps her napkin, out falls a cute little silver style bracelet with a heart charm. We loved it and enjoyed it throughly.

The little girls and moms paraded around the GF lobby and up the stairs waving like new princesses. It was adorable. Then they take you to the store upstairs and they get a certificate and get to sign a princess book and get a scrapbooking starter little kit and then they have for sale in the giftshop more outfits for the My Disney Doll. We bought a tinkerbell one.

We did the CRT breakfast and it was probably the BEST breakfast we had of our visit. The interaction was wonderful too and the ambience of being in the castle was just PURE MAGIC. My hubby even loved it too. They bring you more of whatever you want to eat. The cream cheese stuffed french toast with blueberries was DELISH!!! It was eggs, crispy bacon, fruit, pastries, potatoes, sausage. I had originally had a CRT ADR for breakfast for our vacation for JULY but we had to cancel it and booked for May instead and I lost the breakfast and could only get the dinner which was a late time and I ended up cancelling it. Believe it or not, I called for the CRT breakfast ADR the day before we left for our trip and someone cancelled and I was able to get in for a 9:45 breakfast. Meeting Cinderella in the lobby for pics and going up the winding little stairs and seeing all the princesses like Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Jasmine, Belle was just a magical way to start out our day at the MAGIC KINGDOM. AWESEOME TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oooh I'm doing Storybook lunch and 1900 PF dinner! Spill!

The Storybook Lunch was nice and different from the CRT at the Castle. It was located in Norway @ Epcot. Very pretty little place. ALOT of food. It is basically a 3 course little meal deal. You have a buffet to start with that has cheeses, meats, Mickey shaped macaroni salad, pasta salads. Then you order an entree. I had the BBQ pulled pork and dd ordered off the kids menu but they gave her adult portion. It was grilled chicken, boiled potatoes and corn. Then they bring out a dessert platter with 3 different types of desserts on it. There was a traditional rice Norwegian type dessert in the middle then a cappucino style dessert which my dd loved and then a vanilla like pudding syle cake which I loved. We were stuffed from lunch. The characters we saw were Jasmine, Cinderella, Ariel in her wedding gown and then our picture was taken with Belle in her beautiful yellow gown before we got seated. It was a wonderful mom and daughter lunch. We enjoyed it greatly :)

The 1900 Park Fare for dinner was FABULOUS!!!!!!! The food was delicious. My fav was the stirfry beef & veggies and dh loved the prime rib. There was a wide selection. I loved the Ceasar salad and so didn't dd. The potatoes were delicious. My son loved the prime rib and the mac and cheese. The characters were Cinderella and Prince Charming and then the 2 stepsisters and the stepmom. The princess and prince were adorable and did a little waltz in the middle of the restaraunt. The stepsisters were a HOOT. They really got into character as did the stepmom. It is definitely on our list again for our visit next year! It will be a tradition for us and our stay @ the GF.

We are taking our daughter to WDW on her 7th birthday. We are trying to decide which place to celebrate (lunch or dinner). We have done Norway and Crystal Palace before so we wanted to try something different. We will also have our 5 year old daughter with us.

Out of the places you tried, which would you recommend most for a 7 year olds celebration?

Thanks!

I am glad to hear you liked this restaurant, because we have it on ADR's. We choose the dinner because we tried to get some dinners and some breakfasts. Do the mice come out too? I have seen pictures of them but they might only come out in the parades.

Oooooohhhhhh, I can't wait until August! We start our vacation with dinner at 1900 Park Fare and we end our trip with breakfast there as well, right before we hit the road for 12 hours! We've had yummy breakfast there in 2006, but my kids are excited for dinner with Cindy!

Thanks for the yummy review.

We have the exact same ADR's. We are going to 1900 for breakfast and dinner. My wife thought it was weird with all the other places to choose why go to the same place twice.

We are still trying to decide which one to go to Lunch or Dinner at CRT.

Also planning on the coral reef.

Also need something special for anniversary dinner.

Did you get any pics?

When was your ADR for Chef Mickey's? Were you there for the opening (ribbon cutting) ceremony? I am trying to find out how you go about getting your child selected to open the restaurant with Mickey. We were there in October and saw a little girl do this. This trip we are celebrating my son's birthday dinner there and thought it would be a nice little surprise if he could help open the restaurant. We have 5:05pm ADRs already booked.
